Bringing this up to say that after several weeks of not working on the game, I'm at it again. The overall progress is still about 1/3 though...
I would like to say that I'm releasing the game this summer, but I highly doubt it :P Anyway, all your comments motivate me to do it! :)

Just to make this post more meaningful, a screenshot I haven't yet posted here:

cianty

Wow.... that screenshot makes me feel around my heart....

Beautiful screenshot gameboy, hope to play this this summer somewhere this year  ;)

Chicky

So charming! Love the camper, hippie, guitar and blue cup!!

Tabata

Ohhhh â€" no! :o

Until now, it was promising for me, but now you catched me with this nice picture!

I drove around in such a camper “some”   years ago  (... sweet memories, simple life in my old, orange colored bus with self crochet seatcovers came along with wonderful holidays, meeting interesting people ... )

So now there goes nothing else for you from now on  -   gimme ,     gimme ,       gimme

CoffeeBob

Like the plot, and the art style is awesome! Very much looking forward to playing this. I imagine it to be like one of those cozy, philosophical movies about just life in general. Except, well, it's a game. ;D
Best of luck with this!

MiGo

I actually love the style you're using here. Especially how it all meshes. (The angle for the van is dynamic!)

Also noticed the little blue mug in the grass. :P

I shall be looking forward to this as well!

Intense Degree

Beautiful, really beautiful! :o

Definitely looking forward to this. :)

Miglioshin

I like your art style.

looking forward to play the game!

Hello! Just bumping this up to let you know that the project most definitely is not dead. I haven't been very active for couple of months but last week I got things rolling again and ended up making a big portion of the game. It's been a productive few days, I progressed the story, drew bg's and characters and even wrote some tunes.

I'm almost at that point where I originally planned to release a demo, but I have abandoned the idea of making a demo at all, because... I don't want the demo to just be a piece of the game, because that would give away too much. Besides, it's not that long game anyway. I'm a slow developer.

Can't have a threadbump without a screenshot:

Demo or no demo, still looks and sounds promising!  :)

Vinnicius

Amazing backgrounds!! :D Very cool, man!

Bogdan

Really nice looking game(from screenshots). I am looking forward to play it when it comes out. :)

Cuiki

I love how you draw cars (and vans) in low res! :D
Hmm..it's kinda steep. But with a sled I can slide down the slope.

gameboy

Thanks people! I'll do my best to finish it this autumn/winter/next year. And I love drawing vehicles! :D

voh

Still here.

poc301

Amazing looking game.  I am looking forward to it :)

Just out of curiosity, do you do the art free-hand?  Pixel art?  Or do you use some more complicated method?

gameboy

Thanks! I first draw the line art, then add colour, then go in deeper and add shading, small details etc. I guess it can be called pixelart.

Tabata

Another nice screen!
I am still eagerly waiting for this promising game!

Keep on the good work!

Tenacious Stu

Interesting story. I'm looking forward to seeing how the player can help him get his job back? Also loving the artwork  ;D
