Yes, sounds interesting, but you might have forgotten something...
I used to make games but then I took an IRC in the knee.

Hey Cjhrules... I just downloaded and played through your demo, it's really pretty good.

Just a few things I might mention for possible improvements:

The way the pointer/cursor is constantly "flashing" seems a bit distracting to me. I might suggest no need to constantly be "flashing" the cursor.

Also
Spoiler
When fighting the guard, I had no clue what to do to fight him.. it was only pure luck that I found pressing the "right arrow key" made Indy throw punches. Perhaps some little "instructions" that pop up before the fight to let the player know what key(s) to press to control Indy during a fight might be helpful, or maybe you plan on including that in a readme file later?

And, when going out the window, from the room inside with the window, to suddenly being outside, and I don't see any window where I am outside. Does he "jump" or "climb down" or how does he get from the room with the window to outside? Or you might make the window partially visible? Or heck, you can add a "puzzle" where Indy says "Hmmm, it's a bit far down." and you might need to tie the flag to the window to "climb down", then when outside, you can see a part of the flag hanging down from where the window would be? That way too, you could actually use the flag to climb up back inside if there was something else you forgot to do inside. Just some thoughts. Ã,  And, at the car, I found it was a real "pixel hunt" to find and interact at all with the the "trunk", perhaps make the trunk bigger or easier to find? Ã,  Okay, and lastely, a little bug I found... Indy can keep using the sissors on the trunk, and keep getting new uniforms repeatedly. Perhaps you might want to make it so he can only get the uniform from the trunk once?

Overall, a great job, nicely done graphics, interesting little puzzles... and I felt for a few minutes I was playing a classic style "Indiana Jones" game. Ã,  I look forwards to seeing your completed game in action.

Did I mention moving or locking? I reckoned Darth could be saved the trouble of yet another temporary lock process.

I have trained you guys well :)

I didn't check the thread when it was a rule breaker and didn't understand what you guys were talking about at first, but all is well now, the thread is in compliance.

The game looks pretty good.Ã,

However, I have a question. If the first one was the last crusade, how can there be a second :)

Good luck with your deadline.

Arg! Can't be! I'm stuck at the very start!

Spoiler
I have fought the guard, got scissors, key and flag. How to get this darn window open? What did I miss?

Seems interesting so far, despite some bugs,
Spoiler
the flag always "says" that there's a key with it

and very boring text, like "nice x" everywhere.

I suggest:

* use punctuation. Like ".  ,  : ! ? " and so on. "Nice window" is not even a sentence! Or even better...
* ...ask some people to do proofreading for you, to correct grammatical and lingual mistakes. There's many people in this forum who would be glad to help.
* ask some people to beta test whole thing before releasing it. beta testing is very, very good. Once again, you may find some here, since people at AGSForums go wild when someone says "Indiana Jones" anyway...  :D

BTW, what's that green pixel in almost every room? (upper right part of screen)

I want to say thanks to InCreator and Al_ninio for all the great suggestion, and I will do a grammar and spelling test since I am from sweden....

a clue for InCreator

Spoiler
If you push the candlestick the window in the next room will open.... ( secret mechanism )

Downloaded and played your game.  Please hurry and finish it.  It looks so good so far..............Thank you.

cjhrules

Hi everybody!
I realise that I won't have the game ready at 15th June, even though I'm working day and night with the game. My brother (beta-tester) who is a more realistic person than me thinks that I will have the game ready by the end of November. Anyway I am posting some new screenshots and I will also soon release a new demo (rolling one) on my website in the near futureÃ,  Ã,

He modified it :P

Anyway, nice game - but I can't for the life of me figure out the fighting controls!

Ubel

I liked the demo, and you have a nice website too. Waiting for you to finish this. :)

It looks really good!
I'm a great fan of the old LucasArts-Adventuregames and I think, that this one will be a great one.

I hope, that my english was good.

cjhrules

Since much has happened since I released the first Demo I have now released a new rolling demo. The Voices will sound much better in the final version since we only had a bad headset microphone when the voice actor recorded the voices for this demo.

To download the rolling demo please visit http://www.indylc2.com

Mr Flibble

Its pronounced "ark-ee-ollo-gee"  ;)
Otherwise pretty nice.
The Nazi guy didn't sound too imtimidating, I would recommend checking out that voice-over community that popped up recently and asked for an insane German.
Also, was the Geneva scene an original drawing or am I not remembering LC very well?
Ah! There is no emoticon for what I'm feeling!

I saw your rolling-demo, nice voice-sound anyway.
The voice of the german general sounds a little strange for me, because I'm a german, but I think, that you can handle this.Ã,  ;)
Maybe I could play the voice of this general, if you want.
I have a headset myself.

I found the sofa and the table in the original lc
Also I have removed the characters voices for now

ildu

Some typos, some pronounciation errors, but otherwise a good demo. Your voice actors sound like they're trying too hard. Also, the dude sitting in the Geneva bg is way too big, unless he's a giant.
