FINALLY!!!
After... ? 3 years? hahaha
So the game is finished and can be played through its entirety.

note: no music yet, except for the end bit.

Story: Now that Rogi has fallen through the hole in the earth, (check out part I at divotdesign.com) she is one step closer to the home of Babayaga.  She can almost smell her idol cackling in the distance.  But alas, it is night in this creepy land, and (of course) wacky adventures ensue!

Looking nice, have to check out the first one as I dont think I seen it!

Id love to make music for you, though I quite busy with my own project right now, and I would only been able to make some piano music etc.
And I dont really think I good enough anyway..

But I wish you good luck in finding a musician(s).
Also offcourse with the game!

ManicMatt

I too had missed out on the first part, so I just played and finished it now! It was good! Check it out other people who haven't played it!

I know why you did it, but in any adventure game it annoys me that the player is clickable. I lost count of how many times I "Set corset to kill"! Pleeeaaase don't have the character clickable in this one!

I'm tempted to try out doing some game music myself, but I'm really busy doing hundreds of lines of speech for my game... I'll check back with you when I'm done if you've still not got a musician. You can see my music skills on my link in my sig.

Sylvr

So.... what kind of musician do you need? I may be able to help.

That looks amazing! I enjoyed the first one a lot, good luck!

Woohoo! I am so happy! I've been waiting for this for so long! I just can't believe how AMAZING your graphics are, the colors and everything! It's all just so WONDERFUL! I remember seeing the first part for the first time and just being blown away. I'm confident I will feel the same about this one. You are so talented! Keep up the good work, I'm a loyal fan! Now excuse me while I go pass out...
There's no emoticon for what I'm feeling!

Erenan

Excellent! I've been looking forward to this game for quite some time now!

P.S. I've sent you a PM. :)

So.... what kind of musician do you need?

I need a music slave for cheesy, deeply atmospheric music. Similar to Volume I, but more complex.
The most I can afford to pay is $40 (Canadian) per song.. I'll need about 13.

I never played part one...but this looks AMAZING!!!

I think I'll definitely have to go play part one so that I'll really know what I'm getting myself into (though I'm sure it's something wonderful ;)).

I could try something and send a sample to you. I'll have to go and look at the music from the first game again though. Plus I'm working without a mouse right now so this will be interesting...

EDIT: I can't hear the music, and now realize that I never could...

ManicMatt

You too?

The first game was mute all the way through for me!

Sylvr

Yeah, there was nothing. I don't even recall if there was any sound effects. (I'd check now but that doesn't work sans mouse.) I went back and checked, but my own game seems to be working. So I can't write anything if I don't know what it should resemble. Alas. :)

I vaguely remember hearing music when I played this about a year ago. I'll redownload and check again.

Well I just noticed in the comments section of her first game someone saying something about an "original" version, which makes me suspect there is a version with music, and one without!

EDIT:

Here:

"Posted by Kediri on 2005-01-05 at 19:08 (IP logged):
I played this as the original and loved it, so I'll download the new improved game - well worth playing though!"

I didn't see anything about an "original version" when I did a search for it.

EDIT: Oh. There was an original. Guess it got taken down.

Hmm...

the music works for me (duh)... they're midi files.
Wow, but this sucks... what could be going wrong?
