Shai-la of the Sith (remake)

Hi everyone.
I have deleted my Star Wars fan-game, Shai-la of the Sith, because I wanted to make a better, more personal game.
I have began the production of the remake with my own graphics.

The story : in the Star Wars universe, the life of Darth Vader's young apprentice, Shai-la, who will live the events of the two trilogies and meet characters from the movies and the Extended Universe during her various missions on different planets. She will learn the powers of the Force and become a powerful young Sith !

Gameplay : action/RPG/adventure game. Entirely played with keyboard.

UPDATE: The demo is available !
Including the tutorial part and the first mission.

Ah, thumbs up! I was lucky enough to d'load the "original", so all I can say that if you keep the gameplay (which was good) and boost it with your own art (which is *very* good), you're in for a sure win (good and very good defaulting to outstanding)

I don't speak french at all but can say "Viel Glück, das wird bestimmt ein klasse "Remake"!", so I'll do. Oh, I already did.

Seems splendid! I really hope Shai-la really go trougth the 2 trilogies and know even expanded universe people... I'm master of StarwarsRPG and your game seems very interesting ^^

I as well downloaded the original, didn't finish it yet. I think it was pretty good (took me long to get the hang of the battle system though, I've read the instruction but still didn't get what was going on...offtrack, never mind) but in all the game has an original "star wars" vibe. Keep up the good work.  

I have but one comment on this images - you draw really well, but you kinda made her like a cartoony little schoolgirl that's playing dressup instead of being sort of a mysterious goth/emo (but in a cool way) creature (which she was in the that first game you made). I especially got that "little girl playing dressup" vibe on that first image. Not saying what you should do, just my impression.

And only keyboard? Strange choice, hope you can pull it off.

Anian: in fact, the Shai-la you can see on the screenshots is the "real" Shai-la, the one I have dreamed about and designed at the beginning (I have wrote her story years ago). She's active and "cartoony", enjoying her new life - at least at the beginning of the story. The only reason she looks more "goth" in the other game is that I didn't have time to draw her and I have to use an old picture of her where she looks this way. I want to make a funnier game with a cool character (but with dramatics scenes at some points of the story).

Hm, why is Shai-La fighting a stormtrooper in that title picture? As a Sith isn't she supposed to be on their side? Or is that stormtrooper supposed to be a clone and you're settling the story before the old (new) episodes?

Without trying to give anything away, having played the original version, lets just say I think the stormtrooper is a test dummy, for Shai-la to practice on.
