ive been doing a little work on the 'souvinier' screen. Just thought id see what people think of the update:

p.s: i forgot to mention that it linked with the tree scene, and I'm removing the tree t the far left, as i simply dont like it lol.

edit: i didnt realise the sea sort of dips halfway through, think that was a joining error lol, oh well ill fix it.

Maybe its the monitor here at uni, but that pic is very very dark compared to what I have seen before. I'll check it when I get home. Very nice work on the character too.

edit: Well i guess it was the monitor, cos at home the picture looks bright. It looks nice.

Well ... I know this isn't the CL and that you didn't ask for help on the BG (and you certainly don't need it!) but this background is so good I couldn't help doing a quick little edit to explain something ...

- I made the Lamprey sign more glowing (and the christmas lights) and added a little light to the ground in front as well as some more colored hi-lights.

After I had done this I realized you might well have already done something like this ... it just didn't show up in that picture!

Anyway ... I hope you don't mind! I can't wait to play this game!!

thanks for the edit darth, the reason the sign isnt too illuminated is that i plan to animate it when i implement it, along with rippling watter etc., tanks for the edit though, the idea wont be overlooked.

And no i wont be using Manga hair an any situation, although im not quite sure who we're referring to as 'he'?

ive been on holiday in portugal for a week, got back yesterday, did a few BG sketches whilst i was out there so ill be working on those. Ill try and post something for you all to see this week, but some of the BGs i want to keep to myself.

Wow! This game looks good. I like the style of the rooms you made. Excellent. Its like, 4000 times better than my style of design... my game is called NightScape. Its my first AGS Game.... Every other game I've made was with Gmaker. lol, I hope some day I'll be as good as you people
