Extracting my BGs from my compiled game that i sent to a freind

Hi my computer got wiped and the only record of it is the latest version I sent to my friend... any way of extracting the BGs and Charactors..?

One way would be to go through and screen capture every BG you need - but that might not be practical (or even possible) for walkcycles, animations, etc.
I believe CJ can extract sprites from exes. Try searching the forum for decompiling exes, or something similar. This is the best I could find but it refers to V2.62, so I'm not sure if it's still possible.
