Gyah! how do get rid of this GUI?/ colour depth mess up

ok i tried to make my own GUI and faild miserably, now it comes up ontop if the preset one, and i cant find anyway to get rid of it, someone help!

Hey try this! Under the VISIBLE option in the gui properties window change the unwanted gui's normal setting to off by setting the visible option to pop modlar intead of normal. That should remove it from the screen. Let me know if that helps you at all.

Press the "Delete this GUI" button on the GUI tab.

if i had seen a delete GUI button, i would have pressed it, but i see no delete GUI button

It's just right of the Edit script button... are you in the GUI editor anyway?

Probably you're not using the newest version of AGS, but anyway, not being able to delete a GUI is not a big problem, just do whatever piraatlife4me said and leave it there.

You really have an older version... backup the game and update to the newest.. There ain't even the GUI name box in there... what version is that? 2.4 something? 2.5?

ok i have the newest AGS now and i deleted it, prob solved, thanx
EDIT: new prob, ive changed the colour depth and it's chaned the screen resoloution with it, so my BG dosn't fit, how do i change it back without changing the colour depth?

Shouldn't the resolution when you used the old colour depth available for selection in the new colour depth?

Game -> Set Resolution, then to the Palette pane, and change the color depth if it has changed since... sould work
