Hello! I'm super new to this so I'm sorry to bug, but how would I go about making a title screen? I've seen something along the lines of making a starting room with the character invis but I'm not really sure how to go about it.

I was hoping to have a 'Start' button before the actual title screen is shown (like old flash animations/games) and then showing a logo of the games name and options to choose. I'm just talking about basic 'Start' 'Load' 'Settings' and that's really it. And with that in mind, would it be possible to have in the settings a volume option? And window size? Or is that not doable. It's fine if not, I'm just not really sure what I'm doing at all. I was also curious on how to put cut scenes in? Its not entirely animated, but cutscene is the best way I can describe it. Like have it play something that gives you context before it lets you load into the first game's room. If there is an in-depth tutorial of how to make a menu screen, then that would be extremely helpful!

I'm and idiot and didn't process or remember the GUI buttons so forget the 'is it possible' thing I said! Sorry! I'm still stumped on how to make a loading screen then title, though

This youtube series of tutorialshttps://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL21DB402CB4DAEAEF is a bit old but most of the information is still quite usable and it's how I got started with AGS.  It goes a long way to describing how to do some of the things you've asked like cutscenes since that's not really a question that can be easily answered, especially in a forum post.  I think using a GUI will be the best way to have the menu options before you start the game in the first room.
