Dualnames

I'm voting for FSi. I never managed to play Grundi's game though. But still FSi wins.  :D
Worked on Strangeland, Primordia, Hob's Barrow, The Cat Lady, Mage's Initiation, Until I Have You, Downfall, Hunie Pop, and every game in the Wadjet Eye Games catalogue (porting)

Grundislav

I'm voting for Dualnames, because the random use of that video was pretty funny.

Kweepa

Damn, how did I manage to miss the busiest hourgame in years?
Downloading now...

Vast variety! Any one makes a valiant victor!
I vote Wyz, because despite the irritating interface that he keeps foisting on us, his game was the most complete, and (dare I say it?) most logical.
Still waiting for Purity of the Surf II

Mars Attack! by Virgil: One hell of a nice game! No graphics or explanations whatsoever, but that's the fun of it, discovering it mechanics. I've always been fond of experimenting during HG competitions, so thumbs up!

Mirror of Beards - Wonkyth: I probably lack some cultural backround (and/or education) to get the jokes in this game; bonus points for a blue cup and a main character whose silhouette looks like a tangram puzzle!

Out of Control: most polished of them all + a witty dialogue + a phallic image on the left + animation! -> very nice job!

Spaaaace - FSi: another non interactive one. FSi always manages to capture & dissect the theme like no other. Who needs a night sky and philosophy when we have FSi's game? Not me, for sure. (\o/ for design image!)

One Hour in Space - cat: the only constestant who took advantage of our beloved Roger! This game has logical puzzles and a scrolling background (thing you don't usually find in a HG). Malus points for pixel hunt action, +100 bonus points for x2 godzilla-like Roger.

Viking Cowboy Ninjas... IN SPACE - Bulbapuck: a game with aliens (the only one!) with strange proprities. This one misses a proper ending has a proper ending, which I failed to find in my first playthrough, nontheless for this and other reasons Bulba's game always make me smile the most (talking animation ftw!). The music track was also very enjoyable.

Compiled - Wyz: solid and polished, with some nasty pixel hunts. The result was well worth playing, especially if you like goldfishes.

cptnemo - Dualnames: a kind of an inside joke with racial slurs, violence and other amenities. Video was funny, though!

Virgil gets my vote!

SPAAAACE. Director's cut.

Now with mouse. And you can click stuff. To learn or something.

FSi worlds builder!

Make sure to click on every star, it's gorgeous!

Got a huge hesitation on this one, but despite of all bad things I said: Wyz for the winner!
(With Dual as the 2nd place, Cat's 3rd - the others were not really games)
"I've... seen things you people wouldn't believe. Destroyed pigeon nests on the roof of the toolshed. I watched dead mice glitter in the dark, near the rain gutter trap.
All those moments... will be lost... in time, like tears... in... rain."

Hey, mine was a game! :P

Dualnames

Mars Attack! by Virgil: I tried to realize how it works. And failed. That's that.

EDIT: Then Virgil extended it. It won't get my vote, but it was a nice concept though rushed. Well 1 hour unfortunately.

Mirror of Beards - Wonkyth: The blue cup was awesome. Best use of it.

Spaaaace - FSi: Well, it's like discovering a nice album you've never heard. That's the vibe I'm getting from FSi's games lately.

One Hour in Space - cat: all I can say is PIXEL-HUNTING GODZILLA ROGER FOR THE WIN. :D

Viking Cowboy Ninjas... IN SPACE - Bulbapuck: Weirdest game concept, but it really was captivating. All and all well done Bulba.

Compiled - Wyz: It felt so Wyz I cried. Really. I can't seem to get the logic of your puzzles. But it was okay. ;)

cptnemo - Dualnames:  This was more of an inside joke between me and nemo. Plus anyone has to admit its art.  I mean a cowboy and a ninja in space playing rock, paper, shotgun near a nebula, and the use of a viral video from youtube? It doesn't get better trust me. ;D

I've improved Mars Attacks a bit (and added sounds :o), hopefully this new version is actually enjoyable by anyone other than bicilotti. Note that winning / losing is more tense than the original version.

Clicky clicky.

Clicky clicky.

Play that one if you didn't 'get' the first compiled!

Wyz

cptnemo - Dualnames: Whoah, this is not a game, this is a piece of contemporary art! It should be in a museum.

Mars Attack! by Virgil: Quite an intricate game, it takes a while to get the hang of it but when you do it's rather easy.

Mirror of Beards - Wonkyth: What have you been s... erm I mean, a very interesting game which I managed to win without knowing what I did. Great hairdo on the game dude.

One Hour in Space - cat: This game was more along the lines of the kind of games I was expecting. The pixel hunt was a bit annoying (I have no right to complain about it with my game and all, I know) but the solution was quite amusing. It was a bit along the lines of hidden image games which I happen to like.

Out of Control - Grundi: Very nice graphics! Good dialog! To bad there isn't any gameplay.

Spaaaace - FSi: I was quite amused by this show. How philosophical! Just saw the revised version, well that was much fun.

Viking Cowboy Ninjas... IN SPACE - Bulbapuck: Good you found some time to join the hour games. Nice UFO and 3 endings! It did not really make sense, but it was fun. :)

Well, down to votes, the game I liked the most: cat's

Great job everybody, 8 entries is that an HG record?

ps.
does someone need a walktrough for my game?
Life is like an adventure without the pixel hunts.

Bulbapuck

Mars Attack! - Virgil: A very interesting game! The first time I played it I made two random clicks and the game quit, I assume I won? :P I tried it again later and found it to be quite a nice game :)

Mirror of Beards - Wonkyth: This is sooo random, I love it :D My skill was not enough to beat this one though. I kept accidentally clicking the "quitting mug"

Out of Control - Grundislav: Absolutely hilarious game! The graphics were some of the best I've ever seen in an hourgame. Well done!

Spaaaace - FSi: An artistic game? From FSi? Well, I'll be.. :D

One Hour in Space - cat: The game in the bunch most true to it's roots. That, logical puzzles and giant Roger makes this a great hourgame!

Compiled - Wyz: One of the few actual games. The story and puzzle was brilliant! The downsides were those pixelhunts and the lack of interaction. I spent a lot of time clicking everything without anything happening. But all in all, a great game!

cptnemo - Dualnames: I'm confused? I probably needed to understand the in-joke or something. Artistically it was great though!... I think.

My vote goes to Wyz because, despite the downsides, the idea here was brilliant. Story and puzzle-wise this was one of the best hourgames I've ever played. Well done!

I believe it might be! I, at least, don't recall anyone larger. An excellent hourgame in any case :)

Mars Attack! by Virgil: Interesting concept, although I've won the first time I played it by random clicking.

Mirror of Beards - Wonkyth: Didn't quite get it but the texts were fun.

Out of Control by Grundislav: Great graphics and even animations, too bad there is no gameplay.

Spaaaace - FSi: Also an interesting concept, but sadly nothing to do.

Viking Cowboy Ninjas... IN SPACE - Bulbapuck: It was fun, and I did like the automatic restart countdown. The only game with music. However, I don't understand why

is the solution.

Compiled - Wyz: Lots of inventory items (and pixelhunt), kept me puzzled for quite a while.

cptnemo - Dualnames: Didn't see the third option at first glance, good idea

My vote goes to Wyz, for most gameplay!

FSi++

Having played all the games, I think I'll just on the bandwagon and vote Wyz.

And so Wyz is the winner!

Congrats, here's your trophy!

You will be next to host, Wyz; let me remind you of some basic rules to have a succesful HG

    count++;
}

In other words, spam it, hard, form now 'till competition start.

Thanks to all participants of this record edition!

Wyz
