Ok, I'm done with my part now...I chose to write a rather absurd ending, as there were too many loose ends to tie with so few words...I still had to exceed my word limit a bit, or it would be completely nonsensical.

I still enjoyed the story, though.

Awaiting the last story now, and then I'll publish them.

Tuomas

Gee, I find it hard to keep myself in my pants.

Also, I'm a bit excited about the results of the stories.

voh

I'm keen to see how A-2 was wrapped up :)

Can't wait!
Still here.

Waiting for Jon to send it on. Been 34 hours, 2 minutes (No pressure, just being consistent in my time nazism...)

Maaan, the suspense is killing me. Being one of the last is even worse than being one of the first. I have absolutely no idea what this is going to be about...

I can't blame you  ;D

I'm most excited about how the other stories turned out.

brokenbutterfly

By the way, any news from those who dropped out as to why? Was it because of loss of interest, lack of time, or are they still AWOL? Just curious...  :-[

Can't wait to read all the stories!! Especially Branch B which I haven't seen at all.

I totally understand you, maybe next time you could say you want to be at the beginning  :) ... but TwinMoon and lo_res_man asked not to be at the end, and look where they are now... oh well it's worth a try  ;D

Vince Twelve

And I asked to be at the end!  :P

Perhaps next time, bribes are in order.

Jon

Really sorry guys I won't be able to write my part as i've just been given a heap of work to do. Sorry if i've let anybody down  :(

SSH

Presumably you've passed it on to Emerald, then...?

Tuomas

heh, that's the 4th missing from the complete branch B-2 :)

auriond

All right! It's moving on, finally :)

I can't wait to see all four stories!

Emerald

Got it! Reading through it now...

Just wondering - is lo_res still ready and willing, or should I be writing an ending? (after all this I'm hesitant to make presumptions)

Emerald

Well, I finished and sent it on to him.

If he ends up not coming around, I can always change my addition to a more definitive ending...

I apologize, I haven't really been checking my email, the 10,00th 'fr3lk 8i 2le7' wemail rather grates on the soul, as well I had rather forgotten about this, my apologies. I will get right on it.

Wahey! I can almost taste it.

Stupot

You got any ideas for the follow-up Andail?
I was thinking of having one where one person begins a story with a character, who meets a new one (maybe walks past him in the street or serves him at the grocery shop), then the next writer has to follow that character for 200 words or so before introducing a new one.  The next writer would take that new character somewhere else, who would then meet a new one... theeen, it would be the job of the final person in the list to have his character go full circle and reintroduce the character who started it all...

What do you reckon?

I was thinking that we should have substitutes/people who are designated to take over for those of us that will (inevitably, it seems) not be able to meet the deadline. So we could have the normal list, and then a concurrent list of substitutes (which could have the same people on it).

For example...

Main List                Sub List
Andail                    Andail
Emerald                 Emerald
Vince                     Vince
Moony                   Moony
Stupot                   Stupot

So, the first person off the main list to be skipped will be substituted by the first person on the sub list (e.g. if Vince is skipped, Andail takes over). And the second to be skipped is subbed by the second on the sub list (e.g if Moony is then skipped, Emerald takes over). Et cetera. Or something.

TwinMoon

Not a bad idea, Emmy.

IMHO you only need 1-2 persons to secure the ending, if someone is skipped the next person in line can just continue the story.
