So... When do we actually get to play the games? At the time of voting?
No. Dummy! After the voting!

Voting should hopefully start soon after midnight, and will go on for three days.

Tonight?

Yeah but, it might also be before voting,Ã,  not only at the time of voting.Ã,  I remember the last OROW competition, the games were hosted a few days before the voting.
Cool stuff I found out: Men are four times more likely to be struck by lightning than women.  Wow, really? [dirty joke] Maybe this has to do with the fact that us men have "lightning rods"? [/dirty joke]

Ishmael

I used to make games but then I took an IRC in the knee.

Goodness, no. That might taint the results. You'll get the games when everyone's done voting. ;)

Mugs

Sorry Fuzzpilz, but the joke was already taken by vict0r, at the top.

I'll post them once I've sorted out a few bits and pieces and uploaded them, I'm sure you can wait :P

How did I not see that one?

I wonder if events like these should be integrated into the forum calendar....

Sooo.... What's going on? Can we at least see a list of the games that were entered, or the entrants? I'm just afraid that I didn't get my game in by the deadline, but I'm also interested to see what I'm up against.

Same, I have a feeling that the Pm didn't go through, and I just want to be reassured.

In case people miss it, check the first post for the games.

Chicky

Illusions has the guys name in the menu screen...

scotch

Yes I've been made aware of that... it's not really a big deal I think, if someone very well known put their name in then I think there'd be problems, but I'll let this one slide.

i have played all 8 games, and I'm impressed how many different approaches were made in this competition,
thats makes it unique and should never be restricted with themes or rigorous gidelines.
So I'm sad, that i didnt had enough time this week to enter with another approach,- maybe next time.
i enjoyed all 8 games except "illusions", wich seems to be a pixel hunt an not very couraged graphical art.
only on game use the new rule, of making more then one room, what is understandable cause its nearly impossible to make a good concept for 1 room in 1 week.

overall i like most:
24Hours - > my favorite (cool role playing elements, with puzzels who are not very difficult and amazingly merged with the game progress, also the graphics are very good) - head offÃ,  :)
Bad Luck -> (Great animations, good humor, standard 1 room approach)
Tomb of the moon (technical top, very good intuitive interface, game in game, indy flair)

nostalgic c64 feelings:
blackmail in brooklyn (was very much fun, but need a bit more finetuning with the controls)
Spacemaze (not really a game)

very unique atmosphere:
heart of abraxas - (havent explored more then 2 hotspots so far)

standard 1 room game:
locked - (was fun)

only game, with more rooms:
science - (havent spend enough time, to say much about this)

dont like:
illusion - (no reactions on player inputs or hotspots without descriptions, bad graphic)

thanks to all developers, was a lot of fun to sneak throw this games. ;D

Thanks for the games, folks! Nice way to while away an hour.
I was especially glad to see the return of the "Balloon Face" author!
