Okay, I see what you mean now -- does this only happen when you use inventory items on the walls/exit?

And I just finished it. I've been waiting for this game for so long, I loved The Inside Job but All In The Game just blew my mind. The plot was amazing, the dialogues were witty and well written, some scenes were hilarious, it's always fun to talk with a new character, the puzzles were well designed, but what really wowed me is the animations, every new animation put a smile on my face, the cutscenes and close ups were a real treat for the eyes and seeing Thalia's look changes depending on the room she's in never gets old. I also loved the last third of the game, from the moment I entered the Phantasmagoria room nothing short of a fire in the building could have made me stop playing, I was totally engrossed in your game.

I hope we'll see more games from you in the future, Adventure sequels or not, you're just too good at weaving stories, animating and designing puzzles to stop now. :)

BTW, what is this talk about different route? Am I gonna regret saving on the same slot for the whole game?

Holy crap, I've found the different route, this game never cease to amaze me, I look forward finishing it a second time tomorrow.

Tabata

Just finished it and wanted to congratulate for this awesome game.

I had really fun to play it, loved the story and I can't think about what hell of work it must have been to get all those different resolutions in such a smooth reunion. You are a real adventurer and put a lot of your heart in this game. That is to be seen in all the lovely done details.

Thank you very much for presenting a second game to us.
Hope to see a third one from you  ;D

Also the game is on PC GAMER. :D
Worked on Strangeland, Primordia, Hob's Barrow, The Cat Lady, Mage's Initiation, Until I Have You, Downfall, Hunie Pop, and every game in the Wadjet Eye Games catalogue (porting)

Some more late coverage news!

RPS had a large article devoted to the game:

and Akril wrote a few words about it herself on HardyDev (but almost no one left a comment :( ):

Thanks for re-posting a link to my article, Ascovel! (I actually was contemplating linking to it in my previous post, but for some reason, I didn't.)

I gave you headline position in the June Following Freeware as well.

qptain Nemo

Absolutely lovely. I loved this game. I can't possibly express how much I and the nerd in me enjoyed this game, the situations, the characters, the references, the jokes. Loved it to bits. At times it made me teary-eyed. Thank you so much, Akril15, for this beautiful experience. Even knowing that such a game like that thoroughfully pays homage to so many adventure games collectively exists warms the heart, and to actually play it is even more uplifting and wonderful.

Akril15

It's comments like yours that make all that time I spent making this game worth every minute, Nemo. Thank you very much!

Cogliostro

*PLEASE* keep making these games.  They're meta-game humor merged with distilled nostalgia.

If I have the time and the energy, I'll certainly try to. Thanks!
