Finished it and really liked it no less than others did. It's charming indeed thanks to great main character and the palette choice was great. Liked Annie's comments on stuff. So I enjoyed the game and stuff, don't have a doubt.

But you know, in the very beginning it was so interesting to see the dialogue between emotional robot Annie and plain classic pragmatic bot, watching them having so different approaches but both still clearly being the robots. It was so funny, I felt like no one did this before and I actually expected some more humour and maybe dark irony based exactly on this difference... but you went more classic and kind way of making everyone happy. Well, you know, I'm not after ruining your game and telling I'm dissapointed, just saying you have some interesting ideas and potential there. :)
I really like how you're doing games anyway and wish you to make a lot more!

Thanks, Captain Nemo.

Even though all the robots are meant to be machines I tried to make them all have a personality of their own, as it were. And there were other instances where Annie is the emotional machine and her dialog counterpart is the systematic logical one, but I didn't want to overuse any one particular style of 'comedy'.

Plus, I have a lot more fun making silly things than dark irony, although I try not to always turn to silly when I think of conversations.

The Ivy

Hey Ben, I really enjoyed this game! The graphics are adorable and very much in your style, and the animations had an impressive amount of detail considering how small they were. I dig the very limited palette as well. I think it's a good exercise, and all the more impressive that you made a whole game around it.

As far as the puzzles went, I got pretty far and then I got hung up on how to get past the guard. I have a feeling the solution must be pixelhunt-y, or I'm missing something obvious. Anyway, a small point; I'll certainly finish the game at some point.

And hey, no worries on "copying" the robots + love thing. The world needs more robot love, I say. :)

Oh, hooray for not getting my bottom sued by the Lively Ivy legal team ;D

Thanks for the nice comments :D. As for the puzzle you're stuck on, yeah, that seems to be the awkward puzzle that heaps of people get stuck on. It's not really a pixel hunt (Well, actually, yeah it sorta is  :-[), just a bit awkward. Sorry about that  :-[. You're like super close to the end so once you get past there you're home dry ;D.

Bring on the robot love!!!

The nice, clean robot love, please, I know what you AGS people are like!  :=

Dualnames

Just finished it yesterday (haven't had already, but found the game really good, even without having it finished)

A. Kaputtnik (Pfaller Sebastian) really owns here.
B. That pixel hunt(it's not pixel hunt, but a flashing animation of the box, wouldn't be bad) really annoyed for half an hour
C. The game's really good and dirty..(especially annie's YES, I mean yeah)
Worked on Strangeland, Primordia, Hob's Barrow, The Cat Lady, Mage's Initiation, Until I Have You, Downfall, Hunie Pop, and every game in the Wadjet Eye Games catalogue (porting)
