Marion,

follow caracter bugs:
Spoiler
when you recieve the bottle of rum in the pub, most of the times Will blocks the way.
Same thing as on the docks at the harbour in the beginning of the game.
And yes, the rope will be found every time again when looking/searching the hay while having the rope allready in the inventorie, nice thing is that you will see the well-known 3-headed-monkey animation over and over again... :P

Apparantley the game has been deleted?.

Perhaps he tried to modify the file and messed it up?

Supersheep

Can anyone upload this game for me, or perhaps link me to a working version?

I'm very interested in playing it, thank you for your time and help.

Let me see, this guy Leon appeared out of the blue some weeks ago.

He's been making walkthroughs of every game he's been playing.

He's been finding and sharing links for apparently-dead games.

I like this guy.

Hi,
Sorry it took me so long to answer.
I don't want to see my old games online anymore.
I have deleted them and won't let them be distributed any more. I will ask the website where you still can download it to delete it.
Thank you.

Rui 'Trovatore' Pires

But if anyone here wants to play it, just PM me and I'll send the game, because I hate it when games fall into oblivion.

Is that on a personal or third party ground? If it has to do with copyrights I can understand it (I've played the game and came across several 'trademarks'), but if it's personal I can't believe you don't want 'the public' to enjoy your hard work. Even if it's 'retro' and maybe you are not happy with the end product, why not let the player judge it. Just state that you're not supporting the game anymore and ignore all questions and requests. Players will find their way (as you've seen in this thread).

I respect every decision a producer takes but believe me... it's great work and very difficult to extinct once it's on the web...  On the other hand... if you're "kindly" requested not to distribute it anymore you just obeyed their request. But then say so, so others will know the consequences of their actions as well when distributing copyrighted material.

I have never been requested, but I have decided it myself because I don't want to make games with copyrighted materials any more. I enjoyed making Pirates, but now I want to make 100% free games.

Matti

Funny idea to make that game. But indeed: I was often reminded to Monkey Island while watching Pirates of the carribean. The Producers must have played it..
I'll play it now...
