AGI isn't the problem with modern computers. But Sierra's older games often don't run on modern computers because of the games' scripts, which had timers based on assumed CPU frequency. But some genius gamer out there seems to have fixed just about all such games with his newer scripts (QG1, for one, which used to be problematic in several places, runs great now).

Also, I'm very glad you remade this game. I wait impatiently for the voice pack that I may try it out.

Hi KQ3 remake team

I am also waiting in anticipation for the bugfree/voice pack version (haven't played the current version), hope you guys finish it soon, the screens look awesome, KQ3 was my favourite of the KQ series. Goodluck, cannot wait to play this.

Congratulations on a swell job (well I haven't played, but from what I can see in the graphics).

Either way you slice it, if you like King's Quest III, I hope you like this version.

We're polishing off the loose ends for the voice pack/update release currently.

Oh fear not BT, I'm definitely enjoying myself with this one. Like I said it'll be the first time I've actually completed KQ3 since I was terrible at guessing the verb back in my younger years.

You guys have done a fabulous job with it. I'm sure Roberta would be pleased. :3

I have no doubt I'll enjoy this game, but I'm having a bit of trouble installing it. Everytime I try to install, I get this message:

"King's Quest III has not been totally installed because of the following reason:
KQ3.000: This file contains invalid data. (error 21FC)
You'll have to run this utility again to completely install King's Quest III."

Anyone get this before?

On that note, I have King's Quest VI: Heir Today, Gone Tomorrow, but I've never finished because the death scenes used to scare me. (Hey, I was a little kid!)

This looks interesting! Is there any chance for a future version without the plugins so we Linux and Mac users can play this?

I just downloaded this game from the official site and the installer is corrupt.

It gives me a warning saying "agsCreditz2.dll" contains invalid data and does NOT extract the game.

The installer file version is apparently 2.0.0.24 and I believe it was released on July 20, 06 (today)

Yeah, we're looking into a Mac version, for sure. I can't really say anything positive about a linux version, but it there's a way - I'm certainly willing to look into it.

From what I've read on their forum, there will be a patch. Probably released at the same time as the voice pack. I've held off playing this game until both are released.
