You're right Adeel, that wasn't you're line. How about all the masturbation jokes YOU put in there!?
About 5% of what is said in the game is mine.
I'm just the artist who gave a little extra.

Let me quote myself:

"It" wasn't my line but I decided to keep it. [...]

You got angry :-D. I only said: THAT was your line. Not each and every line. Why so angry, pal? ;)

Everyone, lets make it clear:

Each and every joke related but not limited to sexual stuff was MINE.

Problem = Solved.

Any more complains, partner? I'll try to solve them too. :)

@lakerz:
I'm glad that the archive is working for you. Thanks to this game, you updated your 7-zip too ;-D. I hope that you'll enjoy our game. :)

Monsieur OUXX

I played the game, it had a nice level of finish and polishing (for a MAGS game), even though there were still a few non-blocking bugs

Spoiler

(e.g.: after you give the ingredients to your mom, you can leave the room immediately, before even tasting the dish -- and then the character tastes it automatically in his room, but then you still have to go back to the kitchen to "unlock" the puzzle by talking to mom)

The puzzles were a bit naive, so I'd say this game is a bit weak on the writing side, but it's till enjoyable to play a short adventure through while enjoying the graphics, reading the dialogs, and finishing the game -- without encountering any major inconvenience. Entertaining, overall.

While the puzzles did seem too generic, it was still an enjoyable little game. The graphics were definitely nice: simple, but quite elegant. As far as the plot is concerned, I liked the inner voice, the story behind it was a nice twist, and the exchanges between it (him?) and Eric were fun. The computer store clerk was my favorite, though. The explanation for
Spoiler
the lack of a walking animation for the character

cracked me up.
Another thing I found funny is that I had an idea for a puzzle involving
Spoiler
tricking a person into consuming a spicy dish, too

a long, long time ago, when I was about Adeel's age,. Even stranger: I was going to use characters from that game (or an idea for a game, which never actually went anywhere beyond a basic script) in MAGS this month, but eventually I didn't start working on it.

Aaanyway... To sum it up: simple, short but sweet, nevertheless, with some nice narrative tricks. You could certainly expand the story in some future game(s).

Thanks for reporting the bug, Monsieur. I'll kill it as soon as I find some time.

Indeed. I were at a loss as to what puzzles should I add here or there that would be related to the story. Thank you for playing our game. I'm glad that you enjoyed it. Please be sure to play the deluxe version which will contain
Spoiler
one of the main story point, that was exempted due to the lack of time.

Thanks once again, for the taking the time to play and review it. :)

I'm glad that you liked our game, Fitz :). Thanks for taking the time out of your now-a-days' busy schedule to play and review our game.

I'll try to make the puzzles harder in the deluxe version. I'm glad that you liked the graphics. Thanks to Oldschool_Wolf, he put a life in the game. He drew all the art for the game.

The inner voice is a loose reference to my old OROW game. The OROW narrator insults the PC in the same way like the MAGS one does!

Computer Store Clerk is one of my favourite character of my game. I'll add more dialogs and interactions with him in the deluxe version.

I'm quite surprised that you had the same puzzle in your mind and that too when you were of my age 8-0! It would've been great to see you in August MAGS. :)

Thanks once again, for playing and reviewing our game. I'm glad that you enjoyed it! Please be sure to play the deluxe version too. :)

Thanks to everyone who played our game.

I'm glad to report that our game lists in Top 5 list of Most Popular This Week. It's an honour for us.

If our game makes our players laugh, even only once. Then I must say that our hardwork has paid off!

On a side note, Team Adeel Wolf won the MAGS August 2013 Competition. Yay! Time for some celebration. ;-D

Shadow1000

I finally got around to redownloading it and playing. I did have a few laughs. Thanks for the nod of recognition at the end and congrats on winning. :)

Cheers

SHADOW

Adeel

Thanks for downloading and playing our game, Shadow1000. I'm glad that you had laughs. Player's enjoyment is what we were aiming for. Stay tuned for the deluxe version which will introduce you to the original story initially planned for the MAGS as well as the extended story for deluxe version. :)

Also, thanks once again, for reporting those bugs. :)

Got 'round to playing. Completed. Here's what I thought:

I appreciated the fact that Eric was so kind to his mother. That was nice. I do think that he needs to find himself a nice lady friend, though. There seems to be some 'built up tension' there.

I like how Al would slide around, that was funny. Kind of harsh on the guy though weren't you. I'm sure he's not doing so bad!

The puzzles were ridiculous but all in good fun. I think I can see a trend here of psychotic schizophrenic brain tumor suffering protagonists from you, Adeel ;).

I'd like to see a wide variety of characters next time. Good luck with your next game.

Have you hacked into our accounts?! There may be a lady friend in the works... 8-)

@Fitz and Monsieur OUXX. Glad you liked the art! I'm still learning though.

Yeah... Now I am scarred for life. I can't even bear to wake up in the mornings after seeing the things I saw.

The horror. The horror...

This line shocked me the most 8-0. How did you guess that he needs to find himself a lady friend? Either you're an excellent observer or a lucky guesser but regardless to what you're. You, sir, have guessed it correctly ;-D!

Spoiler
You've guessed the main point of the original plot. We were unwilling to exclude this point but we had to due to lack of time.

There's a lady friend in the works, already :). I'm glad that you felt the 'built up tension'.

I assure that he's doing quite well but he still needs to take some, ahem, breaks :D. You'll get to see more of Al in deluxe version. :)

Precisely what I thought after releasing this game. You're right, I should introduce different protagonist in my games. It's time to introduce my real side, serious-no-nonsense side, in my (future) protagonists.

But for now, you'll have to tolerate Eric in the deluxe version. :)

You shouldn't have done this >:(.... It never occurred to me that you were also secretly viewing the Porn Links which Oldschool_Wolf and I were sharing between us 8-0. (Besides NSA, of course :=)

Limony

I can't unzip it. I tried the built-in unzip feature of Windows 7 and TUGZip.

Try 7 zip.
Adeel mentioned he uses an uncommon compression algorithm. (roll)

Uncommon is the way to go 8-) ! So sad, none can unzip this archive. +1 for 7zip! ;-D

Retro Wolf

I'm trying to think of a good reason to do that. It's like you have to prove yourself to be able to play the game. Or raise the barrier for entry to keep out the riff raff. Or because SCIENCE!
