This is not for a game, but it is really, really important for me to make this sprite good. So help!

Tuomas

First of all she looks great! ...but...
I'd correct the stance a bit. THe left leg doesn't seem to be in the back as much as it should, and she seems to be leaning on it too much.

And she's missing a nose. But I like the choise of clothing, she loooks natural and they're well drawn. As is the hair. Make a game of it!

The stance look allright to me.

But I don't know about the face: the eyes seem very far apart and what are those white dots under her eyes?

The shadowing is incredible. Great flares!

Glasses.  :-[

I think she is adorable!Ã,  The wide eyes and lack of nose adds to this, so it depends on what style you're going for... I would keem 'em out, personally.
To make it clear those spots are glasses, add the connection over the nose (she'll be wearing pince-nez ^_^).Ã,  I wouldn't add the arms though, because I like the simplicity of the face.
The only real problem for me is that the backward leg's foot seems a bit twisted to me--I think it should be a tad less inward-facing.Ã,  Also, if this picture supposed to be taken in the middle of walking, her stance isn't very natural (forward leg is too forward if both feet are simultaneously on the floor).Ã,  However, if this is a pose or an exagerrated style of walking, I think it's fine.
Anyhow, I think it's looking great ^_^

PS-If you want more realistic proportions, maybe move the chest up a bit.Ã,  I think the chest is a bit low and the torso is a bit short right now, but that's probably the style you're going for...

WonderfulÃ,  job!

I tried to make the glasses stand out more, and added a mouth.

Raider

Maybe if you made them sun-glasses then they would stand out fine. (unless it is important to the character...)

Her right foot/shoe goes to a very thin line
Sea duck's version is a good one.
Otherwise awsome sprite

Seaduck, thank you, I think thats how I'd do it. I am going to try adding one more shade for each colour and make it look less ruff.
