I've made a little (XHTML & CSS) site layout (download .rar here)

http://shutupload.com/dl/b24970bde728/

edit: v2 http://shutupload.com/dl/5b13b1fa321f/ , after some critique from the IRC channel (namely, uoou and Atelier)

edit II: even simpler http://shutupload.com/dl/96cb98c6900f/

I'm aiming for unpretentious, simple and friendly.

I'm looking for directions on colors, but any hint is welcomed.

I'm afraid the logo doesn't quite work for me. While I read 'upload', peripherally the line from top of the 'S' forms an 'i' with the verticals of the 'U', causing an unfortunate misreading of the word 'Shut'.

A similar misreading occurred in an old Crunchy Nut advert. The 'C' ate the 'runchy', then came back and ate 'Nut' resulting in a questionable momentary anagram. (A few days later, the ad was replaced with one leaving 'Nut' intact.)

I also think the dark green becomes a little murky, you could try something grassier. Otherwise it looks very professional.

EDIT: Oops! In light of Wersus's comment, ignore all of this!

I don't think shutupload.com is the site in question...
