Well, seeing there's a time since i've been working on AGS, and i have somewhat improved my artwork, I also changed the mainperson in a new and improved game.

That sure sounded like a sale pitch.

Anyway, here's the new and old Wayne. So? Any better? Room for improvements?

some crits:
you should put some darker pieces of blue in his hair, so it looks more like hair - get it?

I'd give him a mouth and some eyebrowes if I were you, but that ofcourse is up to yourself

Well, i gave him a small lighter amount on him now. Darker would look like lies.

I prefer the old one. The new one is better drawn imo but lacks character.

I d suggest the old head (perhaps redrawn) on the new body.

I prefer the old one... it's sooo cute. I would fall in love with him, if I were a girl! But the new one looks, like those stupid kids in highschool, that think they are teh cool, but aren't really

Hmm... I guess that's the "cheeky" look. Maybe i could try to squeeze that in in the new one too. If you look at him now, you might notice that he looks "in-shape" and somewhat proud. I want him to be more sloppy and lazy. I'm thinking of making him a bit more messy and wider at the bottom of his short. Good idea?

There we go, I think I've got it now. Anything more(By the way, i'm gonna move that skull on his shirt a bit more up on the second view, so they match.)?

I see the new one better, excepts for nostalgics (Which is sometimes a point to have in mind sometimes) In addition, the first one has some tecnical problems, he is taller in north and south view than in the side one...

The first one, as in the "old" one? Yes, i know that. That's one of the reasons i'm improving.

Hi!

Much improved, HillBilly. I like the new one better.

Did a paintover, hope you don't mind:

- More "lazy" face as you described (changed eyes, widened mouth a bit)
- Added eyebrows to strengthen effect
- Added a hint of ears, looks like a wig otherwise
- Changed left leg in middle pic to a copy of the right one. Stance looked a bit off
- Rounded chin in middle pic (actually just chose a lighter color)
- Changed hair in middle pic a bit to fit with the other two
- Upped and changed skull a bit. Should look fine against non-white backgrounds

Compare with original for all changes made.

I think the old sideview works better when you would repaint that
