A sprite I made a while ago

Gordon Freeman from Halflife; I think it turned out pretty nice.
I'm just not happy with the head, especially the glasses.

Well, I really like it. I can't see anything wrong with it, but yeah, the head doesnt seem to fit in.  Perhaps make the glasses a darker color,all the way to black, and see how that works.

I know gordon has green eyes, smaller beard, and his hair isn't as close to his face as in your version.. but don't get me wrong! I love it! just thought you wanted a few tips

I had a minute so I thought I'd do a quick edit.



All I did was slim down the facial hair, change the color of the glasses, re-do the shoulder to our left a tad, nip a few pixels on the outside edge of the head, and change the amount of forehead that is visible.

The head seemed kind of flat and it stuck out because the rest of the drawing had so much shadow and depth. Overall, I would increase the contrast of the colors and lose some of the intermediary, transitioning colors.

I like the piece a lot.
