I think not, The face looks good as it is. The only thing that bothers me on the side view is that there is very few hair behind the head under the ear. If you can see what I mean.
You got it!

Yes, thanx. I added a few pixels and it seems fixed now.

Though you've probably had enough of modifying the sprite, I notice one wrong (or let's just say - not entirely correct) thing about your face shading:

* You've highlighted a bit wrong areas

Usually, when shading man's face, highlight following areas:

-forehead
-lower lip (works best with a moustache and/or beard)
-cheeks! You highlighted them a bit weirdly IMO in front view, like he was old and looking like a bulldog. But that's no much problem since it still turned out very well. The final look, i mean.

This character has lot's of "face" and I wouldn't change anything. But pay attention to face shading.

I made a new version of the face, keeping it closer to yours (but correcting shading problems and making it more detailed), I hope you like this one more

Xarkh, I think the lips are either to small on the front or (more likely) too big on the side view. Prog Z seems to see the same thing, but his wonderful sprites would be hell for anybody but him to animate. reduse the lip lip on the side ONE pixal, and it would look better.

Come on, it isn't THAT bad, lo res man ;<.  I kept the face fairly simple.

Whoom... Finally I've returned from a sailing camp (Warmia-Mazury) and there was no time to say thanks.

Yes, still I wonder how to animate such a detailed sprite... It seems I'll just make another, a smaller one. ;)

Anyway, I have some small problems with work organisation (through those two weeks on water I filled my head with tons of various ideas) and now making planned backgrounds and storytelling. Sprites later.
