I think i've got finally the final version, was strugling the whole day with the face and got to this:

Please comment on this, i think i'm going to leave him this way.

SINGLE thing that really still bothers me is the shade of the pixels that form his neck... They should be dark... His 'chin' casts a shadow over the neck... The smaller the shadow, the more the 'chin' will appear set into the face... darken that and it's great.

Galen

Much better, the shading now implies facial features.

Well changed the neck, but it kinda altered the pose, don't know he appears to be standing or falling forward ahahah maybe it's just that i was used to the other pose

what do you think?

I adjusted the face a bit to give him more of a nose. I also added some eyes, but they kind of shift the eye focus a bit. Changed the jawline a bit, just to brighten it up. Made the left forearm a bit smaller. I also shortened the legs and adjusted the feet. Changes the feel of the character a bit, but it's just an idea. I think this size of character doesn't need to be all that proportionate, and in this case, I think the legs are a bit distracting.

Also, rather than scaling your sprites in a program you can use height and width tags to adjust the size. Here's the code I used to post my images, the width and height being twice that of the original.

Code: ags

Take a look at your avatar... doesn't the face look better there? I think so, and suppose that is due to the fact that he seems to have a plump face in the other frame (the one with the body too). I don't know, maybe he's meant to be child-like and a bit fat, but I'd try to work on the face, maybe thinning his face, using eyebrows, and trying to give him an expression.

Edit: Sorry, I re-read the first post, and since the char is meant to be you, don't get offended from what I told about it. It wasn't my intention to be impolite.

hahahahaha no prob, i'm actually not THAT thin. haha but thats not the reason of this kinda hmmm round head :P!! at the begining i was aiming for a mor realistic style, but now it's kinda more anime/realistic like, hahaha i don't know why allways my drawings in pixel art finish being anime like, maybe it's cause I love it so much :P!!!

;D YEEEESSSSS ANOTHER ANIME ADDICT... .I mean... oh, that's cool...

Abisso

Well, if you've drawn it (or transformed it, on the way) anime-style on purpose, it's ok then. It fits that style pretty well without being too exaggerated, like characters of classic console RPGs.
