These are some of the people in the town of Draul. The old man is the owner of an antique shop. The big blue guy is some kind of gaurdian who is under a spell (thats why his hands are in the air). The guy laying down is a drunk and the guys at the bottom are Bruce Brawn(right) and his dad (left). Tell me what you think. I will post more when I can.
P.S. DOWN WITH SMILES! :)

these sprites are really good! I can only comment on one thing. The drunk man. I can't find the eyes of his head, and also are his fingers a bit long, don't you think?

I REALLY like the old man with the broken leg!

Wow those are fantastic! Wish I had an artist like you around to fix all my garbage heh. :) Smiles are good.   ;D

Great job Morgan!  Really pro-quality work.  I have very few comments: that sign (I think) in the upper middle of the picture seems to be in lower resolution than the rest of the sprites.  I agree with Minimi that perhaps the fingers of the drunk are a bit long.  Also, the two guys in the lower left look a bit too similar IMO, unless they're brothers or something.

Those are very minor, however, and I think they all look excellent, in particular the big blue guy (really good anatomy).

and Minimi: You can only see the drunk's right eye, since it's a profile; it's the black dot under his eyebrow.

I really like them, but IMO Bruce Brawn and his father look kind of generic compared to some of the other characters the fact that they are sprite mirrors edited also helps to make them more generic...
perhaps you cand do something to make them different but alike, (just an idea here) but you can take a leg or an arm off his father to make him more like a old strong fighter.
they all look great anyways, great work!

I know Bruce and his dad look alike. I wonted them to look alike. I was going to have his dad look exactly like him except with a small mustache but it didn't look very good. Thanks for telling me about the drunk's fingers. They do look long and I plan on fixing them. Thanks for the comments keep em coming.
P.S. Moresc: Nobody likes smileys. DOWN WITH SMILEYS!!!:) :) :) :) :)

I like the drunkbubbles coming above the drunk.  Perhaps put some flies whizzing around this head too?  I think that would make it more interesting.  I dont think 3 zooping around would overcomplicate him.

That being said, of course if this isn't what his character is to protray then dont...
- Oh great, I'm stuck in colonial times, tentacles are taking over the world, and now the toilets backing up.
- No, I mean it's really STUCK. Like adventure-game stuck.

Wow. Those are great! Really gives ofs a Full Throttle feeling. I really dislike double pixels and if you go to places like pixelation they despise of any trace of them, though I do beleive you pulled them off extreamly well. The sign is a bit hard to read, thats the only thing that I can see really being any bit of a problem. I really like the bar by the way... :)

Thank you all for your comments.
Scummyb: I like the idea of flies around someones head but not for this guy. He isn't really a stinky hobo drunk.
Evil: I know that a lot of people dont like double pixels but I think ,with these characters, if I don't have it they look to squared off. The double pixels make them look rounder.
I have fixed the sign. I changed the color of the words and I had forgotten to make it larger when I made all the characters larger so everyone could see them better, so that was also changed. I didn't post the fixed sign but just try to imagine that sign twice as big and with green letters.

Whoa ho, I beg to differ

A quick edit but I feel it suits my point... :)

MrColossal

it's just pixelation, there aren't too many rules to art and if there were double pixels would be in a suggestion box no one checks anyway

check out full throttle again evil, the cutscenes are full of double sometimes triple pixels all stacked up and nice

i think bruce's father's shirt could use a darker outline, they kinda blend on my monitor

it could also be the glaring white behind it all

Morgan is on a rampage against smilies.  They're so small, how do you attack such defenseless yellow circles?  ??? Look at this one:  --> :-*  <-- He is not so bad. Hug him! Show your love for poor helpless S.M.I.L.E.Y.

You are all right. Smilies are not so bad, I see that now. I have even made some of my own smilies, which I think, are a tribute to all annoying little faces that blink, change color or dance around the bottom of peoples posts. Enjoy!
