Looks good to me.  I agree about the depth of the room though, it looks freakin' huge.  But other than that, great work.  I like the style of the character as well.

EDIT: Heh, I just noticed something weird.  It looks like his room is floating in space with all that starry sky out there.  Maybe adding a little ground/landscape would make it look more realistic.  Unless, of course, his room is actually floating in space.  In that case, the room looks fine

phew, im very glad to hear that its sposed to be ugly, (ugggh, pink ) looks great, only the char maybe you should either make the back smaller or the bottom taller.
