First floor BackGrounds. Any ideas? Updated 2

Here is the first floor Den for a Maniac Mansion  fan game.

Any ideas to make tham better.  What could i put on the fireplace.

I noticed the cabinet on the left was a little whacked out, perspective wise.

All and all it looks quite maniac mansion.  Good stuff.

You should add depth to the book shelves and the wall near the fireplace.
Other than that, good job!

They look good, the biggest problem (as I see it) is what ryan timothy said, the cabinet is a bit wonky. I'm not a fan of the gradient floors though, but that's only minor.

And the wall's bricks on the left hand-side are not aligned correctly with the middle wall. Apart from that, I'm liking it!

I fixed and added stuff to the backgrounds


Den Side A

Fixed Cabinet, Try to add depth to book shelfs and windows and added new books




Den Side B

Fixed side Wall, Try to add depth to brick walls and fire place, added grate to the fireplace.   




Thank you for all the help. If there wasnt a crit forum my backgrounds would look very bad.
