a kid sprite, c&c please.

below is a sprite that i drew in a hour and i would like some c&c on how i could improve it. although this is the first sprite that i've ever made by myself, please judge it like you'd judge any other sprite.

Looks okay. You should try adding some shading. He was abit plain too.

There was something in this character that I really liked, so I just couldn't resist to make a quick paintover!



I think it's very good for a first sprite. You just should watch out for double pixelling (pixels side by side). Also, I think sprites look much better without black outlines. But that might be part of your style too.

I kinda like the original outlined one. There's nothing really wrong with it. It's got this Hanna Barbera feel to it.
