What do you think about this background? It will be the first room in my first game, Hit the Freak.

Looks very freehand and expressive, although you may have a bit of trouble keeping things in scale (Something that I, myself, am really bad at)

I say: Goo fer eet!

Is that red thing a heating radiator? Cos it look like a bunch of red bicycle-tires haning on a pipe... ;) Try to make it less cartoony, else the players might not see what it is, and thinks it's some kind of gadget they need to do something with to finish the game.  But I might be wrong, but it is a radiator, right?  Try to make it more like this picture. You can 'bend' it to fit the cartoony look anyway. I hope you don't think that I'm to hard?  ;)

A blue cup! Hahaha, Great background, certainly better than my first one.
You might want to try making the lines straighter, right now it looks just a little too warped.

But that's my opinion, and as Eggie said, "Goo fer eet!"

Sam.

i like it.  i agree witht he radiator thing though. also, in the door, and on the pc screen something need s to be done, they just don't fit in with the rest of the style, they look like; sprayed on quickly afterwards
but it's really great, if you can do a whole game like this then kudos to you
Bye bye thankyou I love you.

Have you scaled this down? It seems to be scaled down...  :-\
Anyway, great style. But it can still be better. There's always room for improvement.

The star wars figure draws attention, which I don't know is good or bad :P It's nice though :)
Veteran, writer... with loads of unreleased games. Work in progress.

The first impression I got was that it was underwater, and that was really cool!

Then I realized it's not ...

It's still pretty good, the only complaint I have is the inconsistancy of line depths (but that could be a result of resizing (like jannar commented on))

I think that's what made me think it was a submerged room.

I take it you're a star wars fan? (or the owner of this room is).

I think it would work well if you used the right character(s) in the scene.
