I am thinking about making a game in isometric perspective.
This room will not be part of it, its just MY personal room that i live in. i just needed something to practice. it's not finished yet...

i know - the color of my sofa is terrible - but that's how it is in reality

Maybe you should consider showing the room from another perspective? Its kinda hard to appriciate it with the closet blocking half the view  :(

Like the idea of doing isometric graphics, that's not often seen in adventure games. I can only recall Mystic Towers, but that's more arcade-like than adventure.

The red cup on your desk doesn't like isometric btw. The dithering on the couch is very good.

If you would use it in a game I'd change the colour when you're not happy with it. Who cares about reality in a game?

I know the perspective is not the best for a game - since it's not gonna be in a game, it doesn't matter...

You're right, the cup nees a little pixel-shifting...

WHY DOES IT TAKE THAT MUCH TIME???? If I want to create a game, then it either takes months or i have to work 8 hours a day... bah

SSSSSHH!

Don't yell so loud, some people haven't noticed it yet.
So let them start some really ambitious projects first...

The bg Looks quite good, despite too saturated colors. Only thing I'd think about is usabililty in a game... This room wouldn't make a good bg, don't you think?

I would also suggest lowering the cabinets on he near side of the room. If you're keen they stay I think you should reconsider the shadow on the red cabinet. There don't seem to be any other shadows in the room and I find it a little visually confusing.

I like the flatscreen. Very swish.

Sanitarium is another isometric adventure, but it had pre-rendered 3D graphics.

Anyway...

This is a nicely done bg in isometric. I will say its kewl the desk is bothering me use a darker shade of broen in the sides not that light shade...

NO blue cup !!!a RED ONE OUTRAGES ;)

just kidding. changing the view is an option or even removing those cabinets.
And there is no bed maybe adding a bed in the place of cabinets?
