Minimi's lesser colours one seems best of those three, but it should be made clearer, less anti-aliased somehow.

It's nowhere near custard's original idea, which in my opinion was quite good looking. White canvas always gives a bit of freshness.

If I was making this logo, I'd enlarge the moon to fill about a third of the screen and remove the text. Then using AGS's amazing transparency-features I'd make the FADING MOON SOFTWARE text appear on top of the moon.

Then you'd hear all sorts of cool atmospheric sounds et all

I dunno about the others but the first one is Plastic Wrap filter.
The new outlines look great Synthetique, much smoother. But outlines are still just outlines, they need something more I think, I just don't know what exactly. Perhaps use Plastic Wrap on the outlined version, since the first effect seems to be favoured.

I definitely prefer the first version although I don t think the font is very fitting.

I used a font called 'Lucida Sans Unicode' which is a standard font.

Yummy.  I like the unicode one.  You might try ITC Korinna, if you can find it.  It has straight sides, but the ends of the lines have a distinctive curve, but not a serif.  Looks nice.
