I really think you should drop whatever program your making him it, open MSPain(t), and start drawing, that's the only way you'll ever get better at this stuff. (Don't have to use MSPain, but I do...)

I like paint... I know it has limited functionality, but I usually can't find a great use for that higher functionality. I like it just as it it...

Why are all the guys lookin so gay? Maybe its the posing, the black leather, the girly hands, the hair or the cute teen boy faces. Dont know why but they look tottaly gay. Nothing against gays but I doubt thats your aim as an artist... Try something more macho.
