Ok, I'm new to AGS forums. But i know more about AGS than you. When i look at you posts, i found out that you dont even now what an integer is.

The floor is very strangely lightened.?  Ever heard of a texterd rug The right picture doesnt have an outline so dose your brain. The statue is "in the wall"  and up your ass.
And some other details which i am not likely to count them all because its too much what like your acting like your 10.

Enough. 

1.  People who are not moderators need to stop pretending they are.  This is the critics lounge, not the 'I think I'll make an observation about this person's post' lounge.  You do nothing but fuel flames and further take the thread off-topic.  Stop it.

2.  If you cannot provide constructive criticism, do not post here at all.  I find insulting someone else's work unacceptable and from now on I will remove such posts without warning.  Before you post a single line think for a moment how you would react to such a statement if it were your work.  Thank you.

As for the images, some of the backgrounds look quite good.  I would recommend using flat gradients rather than glossy textures.  The mansion is strange, yes, but you don't want people's eyes floating to the walls when they should be playing your game.  Keep at it!

I just say: Improving your backgounds will take a couple of days. But scripting a bug-free game that is longer than maniac mansion will take you over a year.

I see no difference. The floor still looks.wird. The picture still has no outline. And the statue's position is still impossible.

I like your backgrounds Rubacant, good work.

As for the last one...

The floor looks fine to me. I dont find it a problem. The wall goes to sharply and fastly from dark to light. Try to go from the dark color to a slightly less dark color for the bottom part of that wall. The statue is also fine to me. The base of the staircase is too close to the wall to be realistic, you might want to try to pull it out 5 or so pixels. Just a thought.
The wall on the right apears to have no perspective because of the window. Try to draw it like...

Oh, and the texturing and tiling is basically the same thing, the tiles are made of a texture.

Just two minor things that I noticed for the second back hall view (the turned around one).
-There are no skirting boards on the side walls.
-There is no 'corner line' on the left hand corner.
Other than that, looking great. Keep up the good work.
