Hey, I made a song today for a one room game I might make.

Just needs some opinions on what I could do with it :P.

It sounds very wistful, something about sadness and loss maybe?

This is an absolutly excellent tune just the way it is. It's hard to give any more crits when I don't know what kind of theme you're aiming at.

If it was a sad, calm background melody you wanted, you aimed perfectly, however, I think it could work as a intro or menu song too.

Great song man  :o

Thanks for comments.

Yeah, it was supposed to have a sad theme.

and its meant to be background music just to give the game some more, as I think music gives a game more life.

Nikolas

It's a very intense and deep song. I like it a lot.

The only thing is that it is a little repeatative. Not exactly a bad thing, but it may grow a little tiresome after 2-3 loops for someone who's stuck in a room, for example.

A middle section might save it. Not that it needs saving though as it is very nice as I said. Just a thought...

Thanks for feedback Nikolas and finally some comments I was looking for!!

hehe :P.

I will try something out as you suggested.

and Thanks again!

MadReizka

It made me depressed. I think that is a pretty good mark for a good song. :)
I do music and visual effects:

ManicMatt

That's strange, I listened to this a few days back and somehow never commented!

This song sounds to me like a cutscene song, where people are having a sad conversation, or something bad happened and they're feeling the sorrow.

It be nice!

Peder 🚀

Thanks for comments ;D.

As the secret project I got with a friend is more important than any other projects I got going (music, games whatever) I have decided to concentrate on the secret project instead..

so this will not be used for a short game after all.
But I might use it later for another game if I decide to make one myself :).

So as you say ManicMatt, it might become a cutscene song instead!

I got some other songs I am making, and I still got to work some more on this, so might post it here to get crits on them.

Its allways helpfull hearing other peoples opinions!

Thanks,
Peder Johnsen.
