Hello, here is my first background. Sorry about the small resolution or some displacement of colors, but gifs aren't like bmp's and I wanted you to see the in-game resolution.

Is it too dark?

em.. can you explain the scene a little please? It looks quite good but we need to know what it is suppose to be before we tell you what needs improving or what is just right. From what I see it is a rope between two buildings?

I tried without www. believe me, but it still won't show. When I first post, it displays it, and every time I view it again (in a day, an housr, a minute) it doesn't show. I think I am going to upload it to a server from the forum.
And about the picture, the building on the left should be the one where the main character gats locked up by his kidnappers. The 2 are tied with a rope because they are like small islands and the right one acts like a central node (a.k.a. the reception for kidnappers, as there are many other "locking-up bildings" around, with different comfort ratings, and they need a boss, don't they?) So, there you have it. What did I just say?

I see what you say about the picture, Id get a new server or use the ags upload site (I dont have the URL sorry :/) one if I was you.

so you use the ropes to access different buildings in the compound? Maybe you should replace the ropes with power lines or something, this would explain why every building in connected with one. I like the idea and the background is very good.

The only bit I dont like are the 'chops' in the sky, they seem to big, try making them less arrow shaped.

I'd prefer if you posted this in it's true size.

Anyways. I like the style ALOT. It would be great for an animated cartoon...I'm too too sure how it would loook in a game, though.

Anyways, a little bit about the story so you can tell me if I am on the right track. The main character is Ulysses Cramp and he has been cursed by fate. Very many bad things happen to him. This is nice as an idea because I can put any wacky thing that can happen to him into the game and still not make it look like it's worth crap. His mom threw him out because lightning had struck the house 12 times. So, he gets kidnapped, and locked in the left house. I can say no more or I will spoil the game (if it ever reaches completion)(and i hope it does, but, hey, I'm sort of lazy).
