First room, first character, second game, any good?

You remind me of my mate steve, you two talk exactly the same way.  Tips for this forum are just be calm and dont think anyones going to judge you, this is one of the friendlier communities out there.  As for saying names of games, dont worry bout that either.  Too long to explain the finer points of what constitutes, just dont worry >_<

Onto your game, I think its a good idea, I wouldnt worry too much about Graphics but  there are some excellent tips for sprucing them up a bit.  The perspective on the BG is an issue though.



This is a quick redraw with a little more stuff in it.  Notice how all the edges that cover a distance along the Z axis of the image go to the centre crosshair?  (People mostly rub this out:P).  It gives the image a 3D feel.

Anyway, listen: I'm going to create a new topic:
