This is not my style of music, but I liked it a lot.

What I didn't like is the sound of the guitar - not the playing, which was spot on. The sound is very bad, too dirty for my tastes. I think more people will agree with this.

I think the vocals are great and fit the style, but I'd suggest trying a harsher voice in a few select parts (like 00:51-00:53, especially 00:52). I'm not talking about getting a different vocalist, but the same vocalist making a slightly harsher vocals.

Here I have to disagree, I found the sound of the guitar very good, but then I just love dirty/distorted guitars.

The drums however, clean sound on them, but the snare stands out. With everything else sounding so clean, and then comes this "dirty" sounding snare. So maby make the whole drumset a bit more dirtier (wich I would like to hear) or try make the snare more cleaner, because right now, they clashes.
But I do know that this might be how the snare actually sounds, so maby it won't be fixed, but maby it can be improved.

Other than that, really nice song

And I'm a fan of Metal who listens to distorted guitars many hours a day but I guess it's also a matter of taste...

I like it despite the rather flat and "garagey" sound. The song itself is fun and the singer is spot on. Even the German language doesn't manage to kill the mood.

Overall, I like this song, the guitar sound is appealing and the whole thing is pretty balanced. The quality of the recording is, as tube said, "garagey", but that doesn't give away much of the enjoyment. The beginning is perfect, I really like the beginning guitar section. The main theme is pretty good, too. One thing I don't like persoanlly are the weird dur/moll passages, especially the 1:35 one. It just doesn't fit to the song when I listen to it. I would like it more could it be kept in one key. It may be that only I feel it like this though, it's a matter of taste. I don't say I hate dur/moll passages in general, for me it just doesn't fit there. But I guess if someone was about to change it, it would mean doing the whole song again from scratch...

Just a matter of personal taste I'm sure. The harsh phonetics and the rather convoluted grammar are part of it, but the psychological damage made by all those years in school trying my best not to learn German probably do not help either. :

I'm listening again. It seems the previous time I listened to it I forgot my subwoofer bass turned way too loud which ruined the guitar sound

I still don't fully like it (most likely because it's overdrive instead of distortion), but it's much better this way and I can now fully understand it as a matter of taste.

I totally dig the German language, especially in music, but I dislike French for the same psychological reasons

Reminds me of those lo-fi bands that you hear about every now and again. Sorta has a white stripes feel, maybe its the aforementioned "garagey" sound.  Overall, I like it, except that I can't understand german.
