I made this logo for fun, how do you like it?

I think the background colour is so highly saturated that it draws attention away from the logo.

Have a look at this link I found in the Tutorials thread. There's a short section on how backgrounds can make foregrounds look better and worse.:

Don't know what it suggests, but this is my quick and dirty edit of how I think the colours could be better:



EDIT: Also, perhaps if you just had the one kind of star, like the one on the top right and had that sprinkled everywhere in different sizes.
