I really like your characters, but I have a few issues with the sycthe. I love the holy crap version, but there are some issues.

Firstly, the handle should have a double bend.
The blade should be sharp enough to cut light and sound.
It should be thin enough to see through, and should eminate sharpness, so that things get cut without touching it.

I'm not 100% positive about his, but don't sythes usually have a handle (or two) of some sort sticking out of their side?

Keep in mind that the real ones were meant to be used the cut grass/ wheat and the handle really helps you pivot the things.

Still, the sythe without the handles is used in stylistic representations of Death's sythe all the time, so it's all up to up you.

Double curvature with a hand hold at the side for some horizontal action baby.
