Well personally I like the second simple one much more than the first one. But in the second, since the full name is already shown, there's no need to repeat it in smaller text below.

try making an animation of the simple one, where the red guys walk around, shoot eachother, spank the dog, or whatever! That'll be fun!

I think the second one is supposed to look very simplistic, as the idea behind the Quick Quest Qrew was to make short, simple games in a short time without all the bells & whistles. Thus, I think the second one is much more suitable.

As for the bit under the name, in game it could be possible to change it so it's random - in theory could be different each time you bring it up (unless "ninja + pirate = lumberjacks" is soem in-joke I am not aware of...).

An animation could be fun, might be interesting to try & see how it works out.

IM NOT TEH SPAM

I think the second one would look better if all those little red pixel men were doing stuff aside from just standing there--Working on some cliched Adventure Game puzzles perhaps?  Just a suggestion.

Note to self:  Kill that man.

i think you should leave ninjas+pirates=lumberjacks, it might as well become your trademark.
All the reviewers will write something about it when they will be reviewing your games. It could be that little thing you will be famous about  :P.

Thanks for the comments!

That idea about animating it sounds great! I'll have to do it when I have some spare time...

I like the first one the best. It's more artsy, whereas the second one is sorta nerdy (no offense), in my opinion...
