Hey guys!

Haven't dropped by here for years I think! Glad to see it's still such a living community and nice to see a few familiar names among the posters. Big hugs on ya all!

Actually I just accidently wandered by and thought I'd drop a line. Brings back memories ;) Would be kinda nice to try and make a little new game... But, nah, too many other things going on right now. Drop an e-mail if you need some music for a game though. And if the next Mittens is somewhere close I might just make a cameo...

Best wishes to you all, oldies and newies!

Hey Vartgass! Yay!! It's good to see you! However, I'm going to have to call you a bastard for disappearing for-almost-ever after the Swedish Mittens! :P What happened to you!!! You seemed to vanish without a trace, yet you were such a nice guy! It seemed odd. I thought perhaps you'd fallen to your jellyfish doom off that War of the Worlds-esque bridge outside Andail's shack :(

Still - it's great to see you've popped back to say hi! Definitely make an appearence at a future Mittens! It's in Spain this year!1

Take care, in whatever you do :)

Andail

Heya Anton! Long time no see. You disappeared on us, and mittens meetings were never the same again :(
I'm having a midsummer party at the cottage on Orust. It'll be the party of the year. Drop by if you're in the area.
Take care!

Helm

Oh hi dude. What happened, where did you run off to? Do try to make next mittens if at all possible, will be great to catch up.

Hey Vargtass! Goldmund and I where decived when you approached to the "mittens fire" in 2003, and we saw that the long hair we saw belonged to a male. It's true! Andail told he would probably took girls to Vindön, and we were expecting some hot swede girls, specially when we saw a big blob or red hair blowing in the wind, in the distance...

But after the initial piss, I can say I enjoyed a lot my time with you, welcome back! Post regullarilly! It's cool to be an oldie, leave, and come back. Ask Helm.
Are you guys ready? Let' s roll!

MachineElf

Hey! Great to see some familiar faces!

Ok, a brief update on my current status... I've been up to heaps of things which is why I haven't come around here much since that great time at Petter's place. I've finished my education in music computer technology... So I've also started a company with a friend in the field of music production. We make soundtracks, record bands, educate and a bunch of other things. Oh, and I've cut my hair to a mohawk so there will be no confusions (sorry dudes about the false hope I brought you...) next time we'll meet up ;) I currently live in the woods in a house with a bunch of friends, building a full recording studio in the garage. It's a sweet place although a little secluded but if you're in the area (Hultsfred/Småland/Sweden) drop by and grab a beer on our porch! Great place for big summer parties.

And Petter, I'll think about the midsummer party! Would be cool so I might just bring a friend or a few and drop by... Haven't been in Gothenburg in a long while either and have been planning to visit sometime before summer. I'll give you a ring if I do (still got the same number?)!

Spain sounds sweet... When'll it be?

Good to hear from you again, Vargtass! The recording studio sounds very cool!

If you do stop by Gothenburg, before or after midsummer, you can contact me too if you want to meet up.

See the mittens thread (AR talk & chat), and decide asap if you want to come, you would be very welcomed.

Chrille: Ah, you live in Gothenburg too (though Petter, as I understand it, lives in Brighton)! I'll keep in touch if I go there so we can grab a beer or something!

Nachoman: Checked the thread out and it's tempting! Have to think about it a while though... Hope there's room for one more skinny guy once I decide ;)

Vargtass, good to see you.

Wow.  I hadnt seen mention of Lay, 2ma2, or Vargtass in so long.  And here in the course of a day I learn that all three are posting.

Now where's Butcher?

I made my mysterious reappearance a few weeks ago. I now have a solid internet connection. I just didn't make an announcement. I just went on like i was here all along.

When I came to england, I didn't have my own computer. Basically up until about 3 months ago, I didn't until I finally decided to buy this laptop. I did go to Brittens 2005, which was rockawesome. Apart from that cameo, my ags interaction was limited to internet cafes. But this time away has been good. It has reinvigorated my passion for actually making an adventure game.

On that note, it is definitly very good to be back. I hope to see many of you at brittens and mittens.

Yeah, agreed, it's good to be back. Won't probably be too active though... And considering I haven't played with AGS for years I don't know where to begin anymore. I have a killer idea for april MAGS but won't have time/patience to finish it, I guess...

It'd be cool to hear what you're all up to! Just something brief from everybody!
And which new AGS-games are a no-no to miss?

Naturally,  Yahtzee's numbered games and the Ben Jordan series.

I'm curious myself beyond those.
