could i create my sprites on anim8tor and still be able to import them into AGS?

I believe it could be possible if you create the models in anim8or & took a screenshot (using print screen) of the paticular frames you needed. All that would be needed after that is a little 'touching them up' in a graphics editing program to remove the background from the program, etc, to make them suitable still pictures for importing into the sprite manager. Enjoy!

1. Make an animation, make sure it contains the sprite object only (no background)
2. Select "scene" mode
3. Select the view you want to render
4. Select Render --> Render to file
5. Type in a file name you want, BMP for format, select "image+alpha channel", you can set the other options to whatever you need
6. click ok to render them.

If you're rendering an animation with a certain number of frames, they'll be named by number, say, if you typed "man" for file name, the files would be:
man000.bmp man001.bmp...
and the alpha channel files would be:
man000a.bmp man001a.bmp...

Too bad anim8or cant export alpha channeled PNGs or TIFFs, etc. directly at the moment, so you have to do the hard way of composing the alpha channels to the sprite frames using graphic apps like PS or GIMP.
