Ghost seeks music video

Okay... normally I can find a lot of obscure stuff, but this time I'm lost. I am trying to find a song. I heard it, only once, on MTV, around 1998/2000. And I remember hardly anything about the song but at least remember the video.

Here goes: The song was a slow, mellow one, sung by a woman (a young one judging by the voice), slightly jazzy tune if I am not mistaken. The lyrics were English, but I think there was a french accent in the voice. Again, I can be totally wrong here.

Now for the visuals, which should be a better hint. The video clip was CGI, showing a bar where the singer, as an antro butterfly (or moth ?), mostly violet, sung the song in the spotlight. A few bugs were dancing too, and I think most of the background was either black/white, film noir style, or faded...
CGI quality was quite good, think A Bug's Life... but more realistic and with less colour...

Poor hints. But this *is* an adventure game forum, after all- who remembers the song?

Does not ring a bell.
But could I take this opportunity to ask if anyone knows of an actually French music video involving flying toasters with bat-wings. It was all B-Movie style and at the end the world was saved when people realised they could unplug them.
I saw it once ages ago and I didn't see all of it but the chorus has basically been looping in my head since then.
