Well, I just wanted to add something....

There are so many different trains of thought in the science world, several very different theories about various mysteries of the world, the past and life in general. Very often these trains of thought get derailed by proof from scientist who took a completely different stance on the same subjects.
A few years later the previously debunked theory might then again come to fore with new proof that they were right all along. It's a vicious circle.

What I'm trying to get at is that science is not infallible, since human beings aren't infallible.

Remember the carbon dating test? It was supposed to be a highly accurate test to date unearthed artifacts. Well, several years ago they used it on a modern day cow and the results showed the cow was thousands of years old!

Also, several years ago medical scientists said that it was healthier to use margerine rather than butter, since butter had a higher calorie count. Several years afterwards a new study showed that in general, it doesn't matter which you use, since the two weighed up roughly at the same amount of calories.

People have theories and ways of proving their theories, but this is many times also true for the people who have opposing views (and also have proof to sustain their views).

To conclude, I'll just say that science has given us many truths, but every now and then these truths are shattered by the results of a new experiment. It is up to us to decide what we believe and what we don't.
We could decide to force our views onto others because we KNOW we are right and the other person is wrong, but that other person might again have proof to show that THEY are right, so it's a useless struggle at times.

All I have left to say is stick to what you believe in, but be open to the possibility that some things you believe might get debunked in an instant, or something that you always thought might be true might just suddenly be proven by the result of some ne scientific discovery....
