I say, the Indy trick, thus with no experience, as I have never needed to think about seducing a teacher... somehow, a few of my crushes have just come to me... or, more like, I have tagged along them, and there we go, friendship done, more depends on me... "Responsible adults" can still be done in NSW for relations with under 18's. That generally means teachers.

Over 18's are fine, and 90 year olds with 16 year olds are fine, if they're not, say, their teacher.

And it's now 16 for Hetero an Homosexual in all Australian states.
