E-mail notification not working

Since voting for the awards ended, I don't seem to be getting any e-mail notifications of new posts on topics I'm watching. Can it be related?

EDIT - I'm not even being notified of PMs. Am I the only one this is happening to?

I just got someone to sent me a PM to test, and I received the notification email fine. So basically, I dunno what's up with it for you...

It's because of your screen-name. With the quotes in your actual name, it confuses the system.

When I send you PM's, I use your signup name, "Redrum".

The best thing you can do is get a laptop and leave it open 24/7 with an automatic refresh every 5 minutes!

No, honestly, did you get BTs PM now? If so, problem solved.

But in general I would imagine something wrong with your e-mail. try making a new one (in a feww awful account, hotmail, yahoo, gmail) and use that to see if it works. I also don't know if PMing yourself (for testing reasons) works. I've done so in the past when I was lonely

but I'm not sure I got anything really. Even myself does not like me. :'(

Rui, i've checked the queue (where undelivered mails are waiting to be delivered) and couldn't see any to your email address.
I've sent you an email from my own account, please tell me whether you got it or not.

Re quotes - I've had them for a long time. I've never had trouble with receiving stuff until now. Anyone having trouble PMing me should use my username, which is what should be done anyway, it's how it works. Surely, it's been established quotes are NOT the problem.

Dasjoe, I haven't received any e-mail of yours, oddly enough.

I guess I'll be taking this to PMs soon, but I'd like to point out, again, that everything was working perfectly up until the day the "VOTE FOR THE AWARDS!" newsflash got removed.

I remember having this problem too when PM'ing you. I wonder, shouldn't the functionality of the forum be changed so that clicking "Send this member a personal message" would insert the registered user name in the "To:" field rather than their current name?

Nope, I have to copy-paste "redruM" into the the "To:" field if I want to PM you. Which also means that I can't just click "Reply" to received messages from you.

Still no e-mail notification, though.

EDIT - Hang on, I did get Dasjoe's email. THAT had been thrown in the spam box.

It was sitting there all alone, though, with no automated notifications to keep it company.

Anyway, the problem seems to be on your side and not on ours.
You are able to receive emails from this server, try changing your email address and see whether the new one receives any automated messages.
