Any date should be fine for me, and for scotch too, I believe.

lo_res_man

Alas, I would never be able to come, I live on the other side of the world, in canada, on the west coast. alone, oh so alone! :-[

Yeah any date is fine, and if we take the megabus (likely because National Express is over £50!) we'd appreciate somewhere to stay overnight, perhaps we can take up Andail's offer.  50 Swedish girls? Why would we be interested in that...

I think I'm good for the 18th - will need to look into modes of transport first!

Pumaman

Big up the 18th! If anyone needs a lift from the London area you're welcome.

edmundito

I don't need a lift! I want to drive!

If I ever go to England, can I drive your car, Chris? I think it'd be cool to drive those crazy cars with the wheels on the wrong side of the car on the wrong side of the road. :P

Ooh! Ooh!

[raises hand].  I'm car trained and everything Chris!

Do we want to run a 'roll call' for numbers of definites and maybes?

AGA

Hmm, define "London area". Is the centre too far out of the way? :P

Pumaman

It seems like accomodation will be the main problem here...

St Christophers Inn seem to require a minimum of 2 nights stay.
The travelodge is fully booked that night.

How much floor space would you be able to spare, Andail? I guess we could just wing it and hope to find something, or wander round the town in a daze all night until we collapse in a drunken stupour.

Excellent, that's more than I can say for AGA!

If by "the centre" you mean Victoria, then yes. If on the other hand you mean a tube station further out, such as Hatton Cross or Stanmore, it could certainly be arranged...

If it's easier for you Chris, I can head into Victoria and meet up with AGA & Scotch if that's a viable plan?

I haven't looked into these in any more detail yet, otherwise we will all have to sleep in the vertical at Andail's I guess  ;D

Andail

How much space? Not entirely sure, depends on how uncomfortably people can sleep.
My bed is big enough for three people if they don't move and if they're pretty tired. Then we have one extra matress, and two sofas in the living room. Problem is the sofas are pretty short, and won't allow for very good sleep unless you're Candyman.
I might be able to sleep at my girl's place, although she stays with a family and they don't allow guests over night, but maybe I could sneak in and out, I don't know.

Just come, we'll sort it out somehow.

Meowster

Yay!

I am most happy!

Brighton for teh win :)

All bring your DS and Animal Crossing/Mario Kart.

Also, people who are going, PM me with your phone number so I can keep in touch with y'all :)

We're going to get a Tube from Victoria to Hatton Cross, since that would avoid Chris having to drive into London.

scotch

National Express just started a deal, go anywhere for £18 return, which is actually cheaper than the megabus to London and back would be now.  So we're looking at that, you may not have to pick s up after all.  Yufster, CJ and everyone, what time do you think we should all meet up?

Layabout

I am starting a new job tomorrow, so a weekend off will be impossible for the forseeable future. I may be able to come during the week in a few weeks.
I am Jean-Pierre.

Hell, that's even easier for me, I can just get a bus from Staines.  AGA, do you still have my mobile number from Brittens?  Easiest is probably if you text me when you're leaving Victoria, and I should be able to get to Hatton Cross by the time you guys arrive.

Andail,  sofas and floors are no problem for one night.  I hope I'm not leaving anyone out but the current numbers look like:

Andail
Yutzster
Scotch
AGA
Myself
Chris

In which case, if a couple of us bring sleeping bags, we could crash on your floor?  Would that be ok?  I certainly wouldn't want to kick you out of your own home (I'm saying this now, cos it might be different at 2:00am...)  ;)

AGA

I have your mobile number, yeah. Still need to find out when Chris will be available for lifting before we organise too much though :)
