You know instead of an autograph from Jackie I would prefer an autograph from you, actually. It makes more sense, no that you're virtually unknown. And afterwards when you become a star we will hold it and cherish it and...well you know.

ManicMatt

I never watched Samo Hung in martial Law, but in fact a lot of the films when he was starring with jackie, or on his ownsome perhaps... long time ago.

Yep, Jackie rocks! You can be proud and say "I was punched by Jackie Chan!"

WOOHOO my Kari Wuhrer album just came in the post! (Unrelated but it JUST happened now!)

Kweepa

Wow, that's great news!
And a comparison with Samo Hung? You must be GOOD!

Make sure you don't end up in the outtakes reel at the end of the film...

Dragons forever!
Still waiting for Purity of the Surf II

MrColossal

"They were surprised at how skillful and fast I could move for being such a big-guy, and said comments like "You move just like Samo Hung""

Hmm, I think they were just trying to get you on the ol' director's couch if you know what I mean...

but really congratulations! You'll be the second AGSer to meet him, Dave Gilbert being the first... And if I could find my photoshop of Jackie kicking the teeth out of Dave I'd post it!
"This must be a good time to live in, since Eric bothers to stay here at all"-CJ also: ACHTUNG FRANZ!

Tom S. Fox

Whoa, that's cool!
When I watch this movie in the movie theater, I will yell: "I write into the same forums as this guy!!!"

Hey, maybe you'll get the rights to make an adventure about this movie!Ã,  ;)

I'm so energized the last couple of days about this exciting news in my life. Ã, It's hard to believe I'm really gonna be in a movie with Jackie Chan the man himself. Ã, ;D Ã,

Pablo: I'll see what I can do... Or, I might perhaps get a picture of Jackie Chan from somewhere, and get him to sign a dedication to the "AGS community, keep adventuring!" or something, then post it up here to share with everyone. Ã, Can't promise anything yet though.

Edmundo: Yeah, I been into the Martial-Arts scene for over 23 years now, and am fairly high-ranked. Ã, The last few years I been in Asia training with some of the Martial-Arts Masters here, and I recently got a book published and selling in the book stores here (it's a Martial Arts instructional book) so I can now officially say that I'm now a "Published Book Author" too. Ã, :D Ã,  And recently, I've been invited and accepted to become a member of the Hong Kong Martial Arts Association (which is a rare honor for a "big white foreigner" like me, as probably about 99% of all the HKMAA members here are Chinese or Asian). And also recently, I've opened up my own Martial Arts school here in Hong Kong (which is also a rare thing for a "foreigner" to do here too).
Ã,  Ã, I do hope to have the chance to get to a "Mittens" someday, and I'd be quite happy to show a "few moves" or even do a bit of impromtu training with some of the AGS guys 'n gals. And, don't worry, even though I may seem like a "big tuff guy", I'm a friendly and gentle person by nature.

Domino: Hey, ya never know, maybe we'll get to "hang out" someday at a Mittens or something.

Ljubi: Heck, I'll mail you a pair of my old underwear if you're that desperate... sew up some of the holes and you still might make some use of them.. Hahah! Just kiddin. Ã, ;) Ã,  Yeah, I'll tell Jackie that "AGS say hi!", and see if I can get that autographed picture from him.

LGM: Thanx man. Yes, you're right, we gotta start somewhere, even a "bit part" can lead to bigger oppertunities. I'll make the best of it. Ã, I have been in a couple of "low (no) budget" movies before, and was an "extra" on a couple of TV shows before, so I do have a little experience at it, but yeah, this will really be the first big time oppertunity I've had with the whole movie scene thing. Ã, And, you, keep chasing your goals and dreams, and they can come true. Ã, I know you have a bit of interest in the "movie / entertainment biz" by following some of your posts over the last couple of years, so you understand that it can be hard to be given the right oppertunies and you have to keep at it and don't give up, but if you "stick with it", eventually oppertunities will come knocking.

Nikolas: Hey man, thanks for the vote of confidence. Ã, Actually, I have given out a few "autographs" with my newly published book already. Ã, :) Ã, Perhaps I can arrange to send you a signed copy. Ã,

ManiacMatt: Yes, how many people can say "I got beat up in a Jackie Chan movie" heheh... And, I'm not sure, but I heard a rumor that Samo Hung may be involved with this movie too.

Steve: Well, the movie guys were impressed and surprised with me... and, I guess when they showed Jackie Chan my filmed audition, he liked me too and decided to use me. Wow! Amazing. Ã, Well, being in the "outtakes reel" would be a cool thing actually as sometimes that's one of the best parts to watch.. but I would just hope that if I did end up in an outtake reel, that it wouldn't be "too stupid" of a mistake.

Mr.C: Ã, Hehe, perhaps you're right, they could have just been "buttering me up" for the kill. But either way, I feel this is a once in a lifetime oppertunity for me and one of the high points in my life. Ã, Now, about that pic of JC beeting up DaveGil.. ya gotta find it for us. Ã, ;)

Thomas vob: Heh, everyone in the movie-cinema will think you're crazy and wonder "what the heck is this guy on about?", But yeah, tell everyone ya know. Ã,  Ã, Hmmm, an adventure game about this, I'll ask Jackie about it. Ã, ;)

Ã,  And, not sure if anyone really interested to see what I look like (just in case they want to try and spot me in this movie when it finally comes out), here's a somewhat recent picture of me dressed in a black Jujitsu gi (uniform):

Excuse a couple of crude edits in the above pic to blank-out some obstuctions in the background Ã, :P

Ã, Okay, if any more interesting news on this crops up, I'll try and think to post a little update here.
Ã,  Best regards all.

Conan: "To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of the women!"
Mongol General: "That is good."

Yes, but everbody thinks so, so who cares?

BTW: Maybe I should change my Nickname!
Listen up, everybody:
It's not Thomas Vob, it's Thomas VoàŸ.
This letter at the at is not a "B", it's a german letter called "scharfes S".
But you can replace it with "ss".
Maybe I will do so in my settings, too.

ManicMatt

You're complaining? I got called a maniac! :D

ManicMatt

Shit did you have to make the music so loud? I jumped outta my skin, and I bet I woke my parents up!

But anyway hahahahaha that's crazy! Funny!

I'd better be careful what photo's I put up here.. :P

Nikolas

Wow, I hadn't seen a picture of you before. You do look big! WOAW!
And thank you for the offer of the book, we'll find a way to sort out the hows, although I'm sure that almost nothing can get me to stand up and excersize now...  :( The only thing I use to do is cycle (I've done more than 70 km per day when I was a little younger). But here in London, my bike was stolen and I didn't bother to get a new one, yet. I will though. (<-Sorry for the off-topic).

You seem huge though. And nice outfit!

That's awesome that you're going to be in a movie.  I'll have to be sure that I see it.  Best of luck!
