Has anyone ever had this problem?

You try to go to sleep, But ags script keeps running in your head and unfortunately there is a bad loop and your brain doesnt have a loopcheck feature and it keeps running over and over until you wake up sweating bullets, cause the script has caused your brain and body to overheat.Then you try to delete the bad piece of script, but every time you go to sleep when you go back to the script the bad piece of script is there again and the loop keeps going and it keeps waking you up driving you insane and every time you try to go back to sleep the damn script keeps trying to compile until you cant sleep anymore!!!

Or is it just me?

Well it's too late now, there is no cure, welcome to the land of the sleepless. On a serious note: If I stop scripting in the middle of something, or shut down AGS when I know there is things I need to fix, a sense of anxiety does creep up my spine. It seems the only time I sleep good is when I know my game is running on all cylinders.

There have been good nights also when i woke up suddenly knowing the solutions to my scripting problems...

Lol, yea it happned to me again, the ags engine/compiler is storing itself in my brain and trying to run while i sleep, i know it sounds insane but its no lie, I have a weird brain 0_0

I often get words or phrases (could also be a bit from a song) looping in my head, especially before falling asleep. The more I try not to think about it, to break the cycle, the longer it goes on. After a while the words make no sense and I don't even know where they're from. It's really annoying, the feeling you can't control your own thoughts. I mean, I'm thinking (or at least trying to think) about a totally different thing, but this thing keeps going in the background. Concurrent thoughts. Really bizarre.

Tis a very good way/time to solve some coding problems. Many of mine have been solved through cycling through all the possibilities of ways to code certain things before falling asleep. Also can help take your mind off of worldly problems if you know there's something you need to crack in AGS But it doesn't drive me insane, and I won't get out of bed just to fire up the PC and fix it. Once I've got the solution in my head, it will pretty much stay there and be on my mind again in the morning. Try not to lose TOO much sleep over it, it's just teh code!
