I killed a man and I'm going to spend the next 30 years in prison...

Neh... Feel happy for me!  I'm moving out of my mom's house!  :D

I'm moving into my first apartment on Thursday, July 1.  So, as I'm writing this right now, I've got about 3 days left before I move.

The bad part is, I don't have a computer of my own, or money to get said computer hooked up to the net.   :'(  Makes me kinda sad... I'm not going to get to stop in and see what's up with y'all everyday like I normally do.

I'll still stop back at my mom's house every once in a while and log in.  Plus the Clintonville library and Fox Valley Tech (where I'm going to school) have computers that I can use to log in.  But after Thursday, I'm going to become pretty scarce around these here parts for a while.

I'm kinda nervous.  This will be the first time I've ever been out on my own... I often sit and wonder, "am I going to make it?  Will I be okay on my own?"  But you know, it's just time to cut the umbilical cord, if you know what I mean.  I'm 21, and it's just time.  Time for me to get out on my own and handle things my way for a change.  Plus, I haven't lived in the city since I was 12, country life is really getting to me. :P

So, with that said.  I'm going to miss you all (some of you more than others... *blows kiss at Ultimo*)

ca. 3 days and counting.

Good luck Mr. Hyde.

Being out "on your own" is really great, but in some ways it's a lot tuffer too. But the reward of being independant is really nice.
Hang in there, take things one day at a time, get a steady source of income (job, what's that?Ã,  :o ), try to always cover your basic bills first (rent, food, etc..) , try and save up a little "buffer of money" and you should be fine. I know, easier said than done, but with a bit of work and determination, it will all work out fine.

So, does this mean we'll have to wait a much longer time now before we get to see your wonderful Zombie game you've been working so hard on? I was really looking forwards to seeing your completed game in action.

Okay, drop in here when you can and let us know how things are going for you.

Congrats Sully, it's a good experience, I hope you know some good recipes (and can cook) cause that's probably the most important part (besides being able to afford to live)

Are you moving in with mates, or on your own?

how many rooms is the place, is it like a dorm or a unit/flat/appartment or house? I know you said appartment but it seems Americans call everything an appartment.

Good luck.

Just one small warning, don't let yourself slip into too many more bad habbits just cause you have that extra freedom.

Let's say it's a "so long!"  :)

G'bye, Sully. Now you won't have the embarrassment of people calling you a Mama's Boy behind your back anymore. If you need any simple recipes that are quite nutritious (and delicious!) then just give me a PM.

It's going to be tough the first couple of months, but don't worry; you'll make it.

Good luck Sulleh! See you in 30 years...

Thanks to all.

I'm still going to finish "The Dead Walk", but, yes, it's going to be a while.  I'm sorry.  IMO, my game is really nothing special...  but I appreciate the support. :)

The place is an apartment complex.  There are about 8 apartments to a unit, and there's about 6 units or so.  It's low rent, so it'll help me build up some credit.  I don't know which apartment I'm getting, but there are 1, 2, and 3 bedroom apartments.  The apartments are actually really nice, considering the fact that it's subsidized housing.  There's a kitchen, a bathroom, a living room, and a bedroom (or two).

I'll be living on my own, as I'm kind of a guy who enjoys his privacy.

I won't be letting myself fall to temptation of drugs and alcohol just because I'll be the master of my own domain now.  I'm still clean after all this time.  I'm not exactly 100% sober anymore (I had a few beers with my friends up in Eagle River this weekend), but I know I have a good handle on it.  I don't know what else I could have to get involved in...

I'm pretty sure I'll be just fine on my own, I'm very anal about cleanliness, I'm pretty good at saving, I can't cook too well, but I'll learn, I've very rarely done the laundry at my mom's house but it's no problem, it's not that hard to figure out.

Approximately 36 hours and counting...
