One of those "What's this song?" threads

Okay.

Song from perhaps 2000-2002-ish, I think. It was hip hop or some such. Black guys singing. I have a feeling the chorus was referencing hammering or jigsaws or wrenches... some kind of tool or tool like action. Maybe.

The filmclip was set in a bar and then, I think, on a street at night. There were female dancers doin' their thangs and DEFINITELY there was a wooden puppet doll like sorta singing these one liners.

Does -anyone- know the song I mean? It's driving me nuts.

P.S. Oh, and it definitely featured some sortof honky tonk saloon-esque piano

Why not try making a midi of it (if you're into that sort of thing)? I know it would be hard to do with hip hop but it's easier to decipher than random humming. 

Hang on... that rap video sounds like a hip hop version of 'Saw'- you mentioned jigsaws (the movie's antagonist is called Jigsaw), and you also mentioned a wooden doll (I recall seeing a doll like that in a Saw movie).

Yeah, and the girls dancing on the street look decent and utterly sexy (only reason for me to watch rap videos). A combination one rarely sees anymore (in other words http://nl.youtube.com/watch?v=YelGCPU3iSU ). Speaks of good taste. I find myself liking this song too

I'm still not sure if the song is great or terrible. You can listen to it a few times, but it can get annoying...
