I'll come. Definitly. Hell, I cant miss out on this. So farlander, you will get to meet an australian agser, without having to go to australia. Yay.

Actually I might be going to spain for the summer. Try and work there, brush up on my spanish. Har HAR!

But yeah, Greek mittens sounds like GooD!
I am Jean-Pierre.

Well, as of right now, Mittens 2005 in Greece or Sweden look like they have a 99.9% chance of being attended by yours truly.

I've said I'd go every year, but 1 out of 3 ain't bad!

Alright, MITTENS 05 in GReece.

I so wan't to go, but I think I'm being made to get a job this summer. I may look for a job, leave a week before mittens. Then find another job after. Also I'm going to switzerland in a weeks time so I may spend all my money then, as I'm unemployed.

(does the math)

I should hopefully have about £300 all in all left over for Mittens and Brittens.

If some dates for these could be set in stone or near enough. I'm game for the usual times july/august. I shall bring my fedora!

Sinitrena

Mittens in Greece sounds much better than Australia. I'd like to come as well.
Hope it's not going to happen between the 14th and 30th august because I don't have time then.  :-\

Andail

And I can't go during the first week in august.
That's leaves us second week in august.

Helm

Yeah I was aiming at 15 august anyway so that doesn't clash, andail.

It seems we're going to have to go camping after all, seeing the estimates of how many people will be coming. I'll be looking for a good spot to reserve in Evia this weekend. More news soon.

I had a thought the other day, I'll take you through my thought processes and see if anyone else agrees or stuff...

1) Mid August is going to be right in the School holidays!
2) We're all going to be over 18 (i believe)
3) No need to go peak time?

also

4) It's going to be about 42 degrees c out there, yes C unlike the British summers which are 42 degrees F!
5) Out of holidays will be much cheaper anywhere, and also towards the end!

I suggest that maybe Mittens should be put off for a later date like end of august or even the first week in september?

What made me think of this is that I'm going to have to get a summer job, and I imagine some other people might too, leaving it later means that I won;t have to quit before or ask for a weeks holiday as there is also going to be a Brittens, so I will prolly only be able to do one.

When I was a little kid we had a sand box. It was a quicksand box. I was an only child... eventually.

Mittens in Sweden? Ah, well, I'm too young to hang out at mittens anyways, so please wait a few years until I'm old enough. ;)

Skippy

Ay! Mittens in Greece really sounds good to me. I think I'll be there.

The 2nd week of August is better for me but I think I can handle the 3rd week too.

Pumaman

Skippy, I don't mean to sound discouraging or anything, but you've only been a member of the forums for a week -- are you sure you know the people here well enough to spend a week with them in real life? :)

Haddas

Well I dunno... His profile sure looks a lot like Petteris. Also Petteri has just bought the CD "Damn Skippy"...

scotch

He's petteri's friend.

Pet Terry

Hehe CJ. I know Skippy personally, he is a good friend of mine. He has heard me talking about AGS for a couple of years now (¬¬) and he knows quite a lot about the community and the program itself. I mentioned him about the upcoming Mittens and he said he would like to go aswell so I persuaded him into registering here on the forums. :P

And there's still few months before Mittens happens, I bet he will get to known you all better!

Ah yes, that guy. That was oing to be my second guess. Well, go ahead and laugh at me. I dare you

Pumaman

Hehe, ok then, I withdraw my cautionary words  :=

Andail

I don't mind new members showing up, but I hope that people won't be dragging real life friends to the meeting. That's not really the idea.

Harvester

Again, I probably won't be able to come  :( I'll definitely have hard time getting the Visa (which is required when you have the damn Bosnian passport) and my studies will probably get in the way. Sad :-(
But anyway, besides one small game I haven't really given much to the community, so probably no one even cares  ;D So, my plan is: 1) Finish my studies 2) Make the looong horror game I've been writing for the past... 2 years, or so 3) Attend Mittens 2006. Neat, eh?  ;D
None shall pass!

Skippy

I've been reading these forums for a pretty long time now (almost 2 years) and I have been kind of observing what happens in here, so i really know a lot about the community. I just really don't know why I didn't register here earlier :-\

Of course, I won't be coming there if you don't want me to come.

GarageGothic

I got a message from the airline company that I've collected enough frequent flyer points to get me as far as Lithuania and back, but that doesn't seem a likely location, so Sweden or Finland would probably be best :)
